We had a downtown riot on the night of may day, bunch of anarchist transients decided to take it out on urban outfitter amongst others. It easy to arrest them when they wear the same clothes day after day with paint still on it.

"Police said Monday that authorities made a second arrest in connection with Saturday's riot, but the man's identity was not confirmed until Monday. Thomas Williams, who police described as a 41-year-old Santa Cruz transient, was caught near the Town Clock, covered in paint similar to that used in the vandalism. He was arrested on charges of obstructing police and public intoxication."

Ah, Santa Cruz... nothing like misdirected political activism. It's like watching your little brother who never grew up try again and again to lash out at "the man," and each and every time you have to tolerate it because... well... you love him. That's why.

Santa Cruz. Connor's most vivid memory of it was that of a hobo puking on a tree in the early afternoon sunshine.
