Took part in another remix competition. The track is called That train and has been written by a french duo called Employee Of The Year.

nice!! love the synths in this track! also the disco feel is very uplifting! the break at 2,45 however doesn't do it for me, it feels a bit out of place.. maybe make it a bit more beat-heavy. the buildup after that on the other hand is good with nice bleeps and that outro is very danceable. sounds more like someting for the climax after the buildup than an outro though. overall: good job! i hope this feedback helps

Whoa! that intro is very orbital-like. cool! Great track selection, they all have a very repetitive character but do also evolve very subtle. The only thing that i was missing in this mix was Escape Velocity, that track would've fit perfectly! please keep on doing this mixes and do not wait another 3 years

Oh man--one day Escape Velocity will be in a mix indeed! That one is epic and a little hard to fit in in just the right place, but seeing as how it's my favorite Chems track I'll have to make it a point for the next one. And yes, it will be sooner than 3 years. Glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks Eis-T, I really appreciate your feedback.
I'm not fully convinced by the break either, couldn't get it right! As for the outro, I came up with this part only a few hours before the deadline so I decided to keep it that way instead of reworking the whole structure. But you're definitely right!

I started a band a few months ago and we've recorded a few songs. I hope you guys like it! It is a bit poppy but also distinctly electronic because I make the beats/play the keys The idea was to blend Electronic beats with blues melodies and lyrics.

Your Summer Groove: this is what I made today. a first attempt at reggae/moombah. I'm really curious what the other band members come up with to complement this Beware: It changes from 90 to 160 bpm halfway because I couldn't decide whether this should be a slow jam or a fast bubbling like track.
