I just got back from earthcore in the park today......I also just found beer in the fridge to keep me going yo!!! }:-)

The whole thing was fucked today....besides beer....they ran out of smirnoff ice but not beer!!!! They had four really tiny stages and one huge stage so when infected mushroom come on everyone (about 3 thousand people or less....something like that... who cares ....) went over to the main stage which left the poor tiny side trance stage with two people left dancing...and I don't mean by saying two people I actually mean around 20 to 30, I mean there was actually two people still kicking when we walked by.

James Boags....the best aussie beer!!!! I have two left :D

Warren G and DJ SS today were kick ass! I spent most my time today at the DnB stage.

Just found out Pendulum are coming back soon in April...thats also kick ass

I just finished my beer...back to the fridge I go :P

so last night I was walking some laundry down to the laundry room, and it sounded like I was outside an underground warehouse party, thumping bass, right? so I look up to the people that we used to live under, and I can see all these flashing disco lights through the windows.

So I had killed about half a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon, so I tell whirly, hey, there's a rave going on above our old apartment, I'm going to check it out.

So I go up, to these jackasses house, these idiots who used to make so much noise we thought they were wrestling in the living room, right, and in lieu of furniture, they have a 12 foot trampoline in their living room. There were like 6 or 7 people there, mostly guys, a couple of like 17 year old skank chicks, they're playing Born SLippy at 120 decibels, there's a disco ball and glowsticks taped to their ceiling fan, and they're ALL rolling.

I found the guy who lived there, one of the guys I had met, and he was like, 'Dude! I'm so glad you finally made it up man!' and he hugged me, this guy I'd talked to for like 30 seconds one time a week ago, and I'm like 'you guys are all rollin balls, aren't you?' and he was like, yeah....

so somehow they'd managed to lose a whole quarter of weed, it was probably under the trampoline, so I strolled back over to my place and hooked them up, and then they swore their undying loyalty, and told me that whenever I needed pillz they could get me sorted, no problem.

So, the end of april looks better and better.

I love you, man. I just found myself a solid dealer, looks like, this past weekend, too.

As for the cliffhanger, I think I'm going to save that story until the end of April. ;-)

Ugh. Temptation strikes. While in the dispensary at school today, a quick observation of an unlocked cabinet revealed several bottles of flurazepam, just waiting to be swiftly removed. Couldn't see any cameras around, but obviously not taking the risk..... d'oh!!!

Did manage to make discreet inquiries of one of my profs about tylenol with codeine regarding price and in what cases she would recommend its use. Now I know what to tell pharmacists so that they won't recommend something else instead. :D Codeine popsicles, here we go!

If I'm correct, it's the pharmaceutical name for Roofies

Yeah, that's the brand name.

Christ knows why it was licensed and has a brand name!?

I knew a guy who dosed himself with rohypnol.... apperently he had a good time, but he couldn't remember any of it.

Exactly, it's an amnesiac drug, I mean who wants to take that??

(well, I guess it could be handy for Christmas with the in-laws)

Roofies are actually flunitrazepam, but flurazepam is from the same family (benzodiazepines). Flurazepam has a longer half-life and is marketed as Dalmane.

Ahh, stand corrected.

Not all the benzos are amnesiac though, are they? Unless higher, aneasthetic doses are taken

I think even in the stronger ones like flunitrazepam, it still takes a higher than therapeutic dose to induce amnesia. Of course, drug users and rapists hardly stick to therapeutic doses.

Just looked it up and yeah, all benzos are amnestic.

Yeah, they will be by definition of their mechanism of action (is it getting too techy yet? :P ). But that's like saying that Paracetamol (acetominophen for you cross-Atlantic peeps) is damaging to the liver. It is, but not to clinical levels in normal doses.

People take diazepam everyday for anxiety, and they don't have significant memory loss. It just calms them down (hence 'tranquilisers'!)

We haven't learned anything about mechanisms yet (or drugs in general, to be honest; an odd cirriculum, this first year), but I know what you mean

Some are more likely to induce amnesia than others (lorazepam, for example).

At this point, my personal research often involves higher than therapeutic levels. :)

I must bow to your personal research, as I don't have any myself 8)

With my course, it was all about mechanisms, and I enjoyed it a lot. Shame there's no job you can do with it, besides scientific research. Ugh. :x

Wikipedia is my friend, along with professional resources.

Too bad I still need to obtain the product to put my personal research into the clinical sphere. X-D

there's a bunch of articles coming out about my favorite NON-recreational drug, Ambien, that it's causing loads of cases of 'Sleep driving', people who are completely unconcious nevertheless getting out of bed and going out cruising, and having no memory of it... they often wake up in jail, after being pulled over for DUI.

Yeah, Ambien is what the air force uses to bring piloits down from the Adderall they hop them up with. No wonder so many ex-military are right fucked both mentally and physically: the stresses of repeated amphetamine/imidazopyramidine combos do a wonder. Fucking hell.
