Yay!!!!!!!!!!!! JUST picked up new chem bros cd and have it pumping now. :D Man I love that golden path song - and such a cool trippy music video. The CD was only released this morning in New Zealand, and I even turned up this morning before the music store opened to get my hands on it. Now all I want is a tour to come to NZ - am yet to see them live :'(

I have a question for the people who bought the new cd.. How is Song to the Siren ?Song to the siren seems slower, it starts off less intense (the second half is more like the album). All I have to say is that song gives your subwoofer a work out with those super low-level sounds, gets the items in my car rattling, I of course like it more than the album (the live version is very good in other ways)

Damn it, I'm stuck waiting til the 30th! Grrr. I know it'll be worth the wait. I'm envious of you all who have the goods in your hot little hands right now. I know you are enjoying your latest acquisitions, so it's all gooooooooooood.

Hey, since nobody's really brought it up before...
What do you all think of The Duke???
I had it blaring out my car on my way home from work today. It's got a lot of cool squelchy noises in it, and I like the chord progression with the acoustic guitar. Overall it's a clean track and I think it's pretty fresh. It builds and builds nicely - I dig it, and have only listened to it once so I know I'm missing some details.
Get Yourself High kicks much ass. I need more time to listen to everything and let it all sink in...
But tonight, it's DVD time. hehe.

The Duke has some funky stuff going on, this second cd is a great driving cd all around. Delik is prob my fav of the new just because it's really out there and has a lot of new stuff one would expect by the chems, plust it has elements of my favorite planet dust-era song. By the way whirly, very nice sig.
