Biff is a machine, Foxboy -- a machine!

I recall several years back Biff was trying to determine how all those sounds were done! then tom appeared on the old message board and shed some insight...
He put on a turn-down collar, a black bow, and wore his Sunday tail-coat. As such, he looked spruce, and what his clothes would not do, his instinct for making the most of his good looks would.

Good memory Glako, I think that was before the last forum even.

Well since then I've become older, wiser and been able purchase a Juno-106 to confirm these things. The riff for out of control are done with a Juno-106, it's not too complex which is some of the beauty of the synth. Plus, the riff turns in to those "bird" noises when the the resonances slider goes up and the cut-off goes down a bit.

They've always used the Juno on stage to create live noises, if you see pics, they run it through a distortion pedal to create chemical beats and often in 1999-2000 setting sun would have them too. Great machine though. The other 3 things I've seen and know for sure. In fact, some of the live pics the visuals are BRB and Ed will be at the cat making those sweeping noises.

Biff...thankyou soooo much you ROCK!! And thanks for the welcome ;-) I (stupidly lol) offered to find setlists of all the various concerts my bf has been to over the years (bout 60)...some are damn near impossible to find especially the old 80's ones but I'm getting there slowly and thanks to you that's another one down :D

The Juno 106 is a sweet piece of gear, I have one and I keep it beside my desk at all times!

I love watching videos where they zoom on the kit, and trying to follow what they're doing!

Those were good times! Either Tom or Ed disguised as Piku. End reply, "Don't ask me how I know, I just do!!" X-D
