i did never see either tom or ed as sex symbols or so. pfft... probably as i am male and more interested in girls but i agree i really liked ed waving hello to me on cologne gig several times and communicating more with the audience than tom did

there might be a connection: boy with the golden eyes cologne..tom.. more shy than usually... his sudden change.. maybe didn't dare to wave because of his hair 8)

nah, tom seemed (to me) to cheer up the crowd more back in 2002, that was when his hair was short already. the thing that has changed is his beard now. can't imagine this one makes him shy.

My husband cut all his hair off right before our son was born. It's a good thing, too. Little babies may be helpless but when they grab onto your hair and start yanking on it... the horror, the horror!!



You're right about girls cutting their hair when there's something new in their lives. After my son was born I also cut my hair - all my hair that took ages to grow down to the middle of my back - chopped it right up to the bottom of my ears and cut itty bitty bangs (fringe). Blech, I looked horrible!

i know that..when I was quite small (about 4 years old or so) and we went on a summer holiday my mother thought that it would be too warm for me with all that hair on my head.. so it was cut off!! don't know how often i've been asked if i was a boy.. didn't like that either.. but finding it quite funny today :) :)

Haha when i was about 10 it was my grandma's Birthyday so i wanted to look cool and i tried to make curls in my hair with a comb ( Why ?! )

It didn't work. The comb gut stuck in my hair and we had to cut it. It was the most horrible look i ever had.

Well my hair looks kind off werid now as i had a banks that is now VERY long so it's weird haha

My hair is where I want it, a good length give or take a couple of inches when I get a trim. I like my hair and am never getting another short do ever again. Now if only my hair would stop turning grey...
