I'm also not happy that Underworld have cancelled their Belfast gig. To cancel the gig only 3 weeks beforehand has left me and 2 mates very disappointed. Like Foxboy says why can't they come up to Belfast on the Sat after doing gigs in Dublin on the Thur and Fri evening?
If I'd known they were gonna cancel Belfast I'd have gotting a ticket for either of Dublin gigs (held in a nightclub with a limited capacity) months ago.
Anyway there's my rant, after attending the Chems trafalgar square gig (amazing!)I can now look forward to seeing them again in Liverpool in Dec -can't wait!!

Just got back from seeing Underworld in Southampton!
Its been about 4 years since I last saw them and I must say it was very good indeed. I use to be really into them but kinda drifted away, but hereing them live again was fantastic! Karl is an excellent front man, the lighting and tracks give off much energy! They did this cool thing with inflatable tubes on stage. Played all the classics.
Not as good as the chems, but made a nice change to see them live and not the chems.

Glad you enjoyed the show AcidChildren!
I'm listening to Beautiful Burnout off of Oblivion with Bells right now, and I remember them playing it live. I really, really like it. Melodically it reminds me a bit of Depeche Mode, but I like the beats much, much better.
You can listen to their entire album on their MySpace page, which is what I'm doing. I'll have to see what else catches my ear as I give it a full listen.

I also saw Underworld @ Southampton Guildhall on Monday. My ears are still ringing! Fantastic gig.Love the new stuff.Karl bounds around on stage like a madman.Christ,he's got so much energy.
There's lots of footage on YouTube of their current tour. The gig @ The Fillmore Auditorium,Denver,Colorado is probably the best.
My favourite is this one...
