christ what a match - skillfull no, epic and tense absolutely



i cant describe how dissapointed i am. its actually truly gutting.



what hits most is that portugal are clearly not the team they were 2 years ago. even when we went down to 10 men they had nothing to offer, and i think we looked most likely to nick a cheeky goal.



the sending off was a farce. that prima-donna cross-dressing little snot-bag ronaldo is an odious bastard. cant wait for him to get kicked all over the place next season, if he's brave enough to come back to the prem, which i doubt he is.



ironic really, we get to the quarters by playing badly then lose when we play well.



fair play to hargreaves - i ridiculed the man but i now stand corrected and offer this as a public apology :P



at the end of the day, we should have won but didnt and the 'golden generation' can now be consigned in history as bottlers. sad, but true.



dont give a fuck who wins now, as long as its not portugal. and a broken leg for ronaldo somewhere along the line would be nice ;)

I havent seen the match between portugal and england - but i can only imagine what it must have been like.

They play a nasty game. They played a nasty game against Holland - Against England - and i doubt they will play a very beautiful peacefull match against France.



I dont know what Ronaldo did in this particulair Match but i've always thought he is a little &#*!% I just can't stand his arrogance , they way he plays football , he is so dramatic. Go acting man. This is sport!



I thought Brazil - France was a good match. I am so impressed by Zidane - i knew this man was a legend , but he proved it once more! What a shame such a legend will retire. I hope France will win the World Cup now , i was cheering for England but as they ar out they frenchies will get my support !!



Haha , i was actually whatching the match with 6 french boys in NYC. My ears are still hurting X-D

Yeah we did it ! I'm so proud to be French right now ! I didn't see the match (Depeche Mode was in front of me...) but I heard Zidane was very impressive, as usual when he plays an important match.



And now, Portugal ! We will get a revenge for the dutch and english people, be sure !

Havent been in here since the start of the world cup. At the start I was supporting England, I was thinking ya know since im a liverpool supporter and stuff I'd love to see beckham get injured and stevy g have the captains armband for the final and him to lift the world cup or something.

But to be honest when the world cup kicked off, England played the most boring football of all, it has to be said, and from that I lost hope, wasnt exactly following anyone after that although i was sort of thinkin yeah it would be cool if they did go on to do some damage.

My other team alternatively would be France, but i wasnt to bothered about them either, until they got through their group I was thinkin, yeah great, id like to see France do well, and they have and im glad.



I want France to win. If they get into the final im bringing the flag to Oxegen and flying it in the Campsite :D

I do not wish to talk about today's events. Gutted. Absolutely gutted. Cannavaro was immense.



Could I actually cheer for Italy in the final? Unspeakable, but the alternatives are not exactly optimal.....

I just realised that Italy in final is a good thing for us because if we are in the final too, the germans will be cheering for us, as they've been eliminated by the italians !
