at any one time IE has a minimum of 15 unpatched vulnerbilities
recently IE installed trojans onto systems which were vully patched through infected IIS websites which were fully patched
http://isc.sans.org/...date=2004-06-25
especially .cjb.net sites which force a popup of unknown origin on entry
antivirus software / spyware software / antitrojan software doesn't give you protection when using IE
the only sites i use with IE are banks and other companies i have accounts with like egg.com
for everything else
opera.com
a lot of people also like firefox browser but it doesn't have half the neat features of opera.
cheers

uhh I've NEVER had a problem with IE.
And yes AV programs do protect IE. I've had NAV come up and block pages that had malicious scripts and such on them.

OT:
Try Mozilla Firefox, It's 10 times better than IE. ;)
For example, It has an integrated popup blocker... It doesn't open that malicious windows that ask you to install a plug-in... It has an integrated search textbox in the bar that works with Google or with every search-engine you want... It supports the navigation in Tab and It's very very customizable with extensions and skins. :)
Try to belive.

The base installation of Fifefox is very simple and light. I think the version 0.8 is now the best (and I think also better than 0.9).
Another advantage is that 10 tabs opened in Mozilla uses 30MBytes of RAM.
10 IE windows opened takes +22MBytes per window...
Many people I met was diffident, but when they tried Fifefox they never used IE anymore. :D
Let only take a look. ;)

Incidentally I've just started to use firefox, and mx chemical is right, fireblockbeats doesn't work with it at all. You need to re-design your site to conform to standards. It's off to this http://validator.w3.org
I think the name is ok, I don't think it has to mean anything useful.
On a side note, it's interesting that you iguanapunk like to ridicule people who speak other languages than english. I remember you saying that you were subjected to racism sometime in the past. Oh well, you're joking now and you were probably joking at that time too. ;-)
