It depends what your definition of B-side is. If it's only tracks released on CD or vinyl singles from a studio album (which is what I guess your definition is) then your list is correct. However, I consider it any track that wasn't released on a studio album, meaning all the EBW's that weren't released on album and all the tracks on the bonus disc.

Anyways, I'm not sure why you've included Delik and not EBW6. Delik is just a "remix" of Life is Sweet. But really, they are both like completely new songs that uses the same samples as their A-sides. Seeing as EBW6 was released on AmericanEP along with HIA, either it should be included or Delik should not.

Anyways, anType should probably be the one to decide, since he seems to know everything about the Chems and their releases.

Well, this is prochem's decision as he's the one trying to make the list for himself.

Personally, I would do what ProFunk started to say... Anything that's TITLED as a remix ( a la Life is Sweet (Delik 1) or Under the Influence (Mix 2) ) would be a remix, and thus, not a B-side. But that Enjoyed is titled as a completely different track (even though we know it's a remix) it would count.

As for the EBW series -- that's a little more difficult -- some are the exact same song, just titled... some are different versions, remixed or not (or just edited/shortened) ... so, that's kind of up to prochem.

All anType could help you do is determine which might be different actual version, or merely an edit; not which you'd rather apply to your list.

"The Duke", believe or not, is one of my favorite songs ever. But I've always wanted to know when it was originally MADE. We might be able to guess at least the era it's from by listening to it. And if you listen to "Come With Us" really closely at about 3:47 and 3:51, you can hear that little sampled voice from "The Duke".

There is quite a lot of "The Duke" in "Galaxy Bounce" imo.

There's a couple of their own remixes of Life Is Sweet too, that were included as B-Sides. I love those tunes.

Good thread fella :)

Remixes aren't b-sides.

b-sides are songs that didn't made it on the album, but were included on the singles.

Like buzz tracks, or base 6, or scale.

Well, i'm really just trying to make a list of their b-sides to make as a playlist on i-tunes. But i think I will be adding ebw6 like profunk said. I would like to see anType on here though...

Is "Terminal Tower" which was released with The Chemical Brothers biography "Only 4 the K people a remix or a b-side or a EP? Just asking.

Terminal Tower is a different name for Prescription Beats from the BRB single. It is the same song.
