I should extend on this statement... I mean that ^ because it may cause this version to be published all over and in that case I am going to feel like a major bastard for making those versions, since this dip-shit didn't even mention that it's not the same as the real version... Just edited so that everything "hasn't gone tong" at the end of the song and we can listen to it peacefully.

I'm just really pissed that people are taking this off the FTP. We should probably remove it from there and just send it to each other, we don't wan't it to be mass published. I'm sure they wouldn't be too thrilled with it.
Anyway I really don't care that they put that edit up there that I made, it's not my property and I don't feel any artistic rights to it, nor should I. I just am more concerned at us not having to do with mass distribution of these 2 tracks because people are going to think these are the real versions and maybe not buy it when it's sold on single. I don't know maybe I'm freaking out about it. It does happen a lot....

I mean obviously the FTP is Stephen's but there has been trouble with people like this guy and others on themixingbowl.org especially (death to yipyap) who will take stuff off the FTP, never actually drop in on the forum to talk, and post it with out maybe mentioning the fact they got it from us. Sort of feels like we're being exploited, like stuff the really good chems fans share with each other on this board is being taken to boost their share ration on the mixingbowl .
This is all 100% opinion and I know people believe different and I can understand

At least if the people stopped by and became part of our community, I wouldn't have a problem with it. I've been harping on about needing some new blood for a while...
Ultimately, I guess if it gets the music out to people and gets them excited, it may not be a bad thing. EBWs don't always get commercial releases (and it's only us hardcores who look for them as b-sides; most singles, I imagine sell on the strength of the a-side).
With blogging being the hot commodity it is for finding and developing new music, having even low quality clips out there might get the hype machine going. Certainly if they create a stir, Virgin/Astralwerks should get the idea, get their thumbs out, and get a promotional machine moving.
