I'm trying to complete my collection of Chemical B-Sides, so I want to write a list of them, in order to be sure that I didn't not miss some.

By "B-Sides", I mean ALL the non album tracks, except remixes, other versions of an album song, live track or Electronic Battle Weapons.

The majority were released on singles, mainly as B-Sides (but some as a-sides), or on compilations, special editions of albums etc...

They are in the order of their release :

Dope Coil

Her Jazz

My Mercury Mouth

If You Kling To Me I'll Klong To You

Dust-Up Beats

Let Me In Mate

Delik (released under this name in 2003, but a remix of "Life Is Sweet")

Loops Of Fury

(The Best Part Of) Breaking Up

Buzz Tracks

Morning Lemon

Prescription Beats (or Terminal Tower)

Not Another Drugstore (original and Planet Nine Mix)

These Beats Are Made For Breakin'

Flashback

Scale

The Diamond Sky

Studio K

Enjoyed

Power Move

Hot Acid Rhythm 1

Base 6

H.I.A.

Silver Drizzle (unreleased at that time but from the "Come With Us" era)

The Golden Path

Nude Night

Get Yourself High !

The Duke

Otter Rock

Rize Up

Spring

Giant

Swiper

The Rock Drill

Clip Kiss

No Need

Seal

Snooprah

Keep My Composure

Did I miss some ?

This has been done many times before.

Golden Path and Get Yourself High aren't b-sides. Neither is Keep My Composure. There isn't a b-side called Just Ice. And Her Jazz can be found on Fourteenth Century Sky EP under The Dust Brothers name.

Also, you could count Dexter's International Scribble as a b-side too.

OK, but I said that I meant ALL non ALBUM tracks (and only the chems' 6 albums, not the two best-of compilations) except Remixes, live versions or EBWs, so we can count those three ones...or if we don't, we can also say that "Loops of Fury" or "My Mercury Mouth" aren't b-sides either...

And I don't consider "Freak of the Week" and "Midnight Madness" as b-sides because they are just re-edits of EBWs. :)

But Dexter's International Scribble is just a remix of "Golden Path", isn't it ?

Hey how about the mission impossible theme? Didn't the Chems do a cover of that?

And The Rock Drill... you could get a nice version if you got if off iTunes. It doesn't seem to be available anymore. Hrm.

@ The Pumisher - Do you have time for one more, please? I am in the Contacts thread.

@ MaBoul59 - Galaxy Bounce on CWU is different than the version found on the Tomb Raider soundtrack and is unique enough to appear on the second disc of the Singles collection. Based on your criteria, do you want to include it?

offtopic: i need the rock drill too!!!

satur8 : no, I don't consider full versions of albums songs as b-sides, because they've been edited, even if it's in another version, on albums.

But, in this case, there are also the version of "Chemical Beats" from the 14h century sky ep, with an intro, the full version of "Get Up On It Like This" from Loops Of Fury EP etc... And extended versions aren't really b-sides either. :)

Oh, and thank you prochem for "The Rock Drill" !

Hey brother_ging - you have mail.

I somehow missed downloading the better version of Rock Drill on iTunes so the one I sent you was a rip from the Tate site. The quality is not very good at all, so be warned! Hopefully it'll do in a pinch, tho.

Hm...apparently, this "Dexter's International Scribble Mix" wasn't made by The Chemical Brothers but by a certain...DJ Dexter :

http://www.digitalth...article&sid=185

"Dexter recently put together a greatest hits scratch'n'mix for The Chemical Brothers at their personal invitation. Entitled 'Dexter's International Scribble Mix' it encapsulates ten years of block rockin' beats into four minutes of musical crazy paving."

So, we cannot consider it as a Chemical B-Side...

But I'm thinking about something : wasn't there something called "Those Chemicals are good, those chemicals are bad" ?

"Those chemicals are good, those chemicals are bad..."

According to a post by irishfan: "it doesn't matter samples bootleg"

http://www.thechemic...age#post-113770

From what I understand it's a dj tool/snippet they throw into their dj sets.

I've noticed Limewire is a catalyst for a lot of confusion. I've seen things like "Funk Soul Brother - Chemical Brothers" and "Rocket Power - The chemical brothers". These things can easily confuse new fans.

The list above is complete. There are no other bsides as of yet.
