well, fair enuough if they can do it well, but if you look at the progression from homework to discovery, would you rather hear an even more pop influenced discovery, or a better homework?

Yeah what Liquidfunk said, I would love to hear a better homework or something that at least sounded like a progression from that.
In the Chemical Brothers albums I hear lots of progression but they still stay true to the type of music they have been making, if that makes sense.
To me, again like Liauidfunk said Discovery was super pop influenced, which did nothing for my ears :(

I 've always said that homework has a great sound but is a bit repetitive while discovery was better in terms of song structure. I hope the new album kicks ass i would also like it to be like the first album in terms of sound but with the better song structure of the second album but whatever they have done i'm sure i'll enjoy.

Dare i say i wonder what the reaction to the new Daft Album will be compared to Push the button, what will go down better(to neutral people that is). I think the Chems album will be a better in the terms of quality of music, but dafts will take a greater step away from there sound in homework in discovery.

like everyone else has said, I hope the Daft Punk crew can bring it on this new album. By itself, Discovery was a decent album, but compared to Homework it kinda sucked. I for one will be buying Human After All the day it comes out.
And like someone else said, I too still listen to Homework all the time. Its up there with my all time favorite albums.

Yes. Superheroes is fucking good!!!So as High Life. I don't know, i just love that rhythm loops repeating over and over. This is my all music ideology. That's why i love Chem Bros music. I love them for elektrobank, dont stop the rock, get up on it like this, prescription beats and under the influenced. The rest is just music. They have only couple of track wchich a really listen and feel fucking good. In music i'am looking for some kind of that, what make my skin yellow, musisc wchich is totaly psychedelic, wchcich can build some sort of atmosphere, where my mind is fly away. Thats why a love thats track. Thats why i'am missing for DYOH days, and thats no true if they will made another DYOH album this will be dead of Chemicals. Because even on DYOH was 2 or 3 track totally psychodelic, and nobody else can do it with this perfeclty fitting to my mind and at this special way. NOBODY!
ps. I'am just listened the Human After All single, and yes, we are waiting for another album with house music - standard heh? What the times, everybody make house today, too shame, even Chemical brothers did not made something new like in 1997 ;)too shame, what the times...

anyone heard the Thomas Bangalter and DJ Falcon track that pete tong played last friday? it was ok
what are the dudes called from daft punk? i kno thomas bangalter is one, who is the other? is falcon just bangalter's mate? or is he the other guy?
no i saw this on the essential selection track listing and made a mental note. i'm really keen to here this tune. one thing you can guaranty is that it will be monotonous genius!!! dj falcon is not in daft punk, just a mate of bangalter. they also produced 'i have so much love to give' and stardust 'music sounds better with you'
I'm a fuckin doughnut

oh yes ur definetly right, this sounds soooo bad 2nd time round. i wish i hadnt told you about it being played now, i feel bad for exposing followers of good music to something so bad albeit in a thread connected to the artist Bangalter. :-// }:-@
i hope that the tune tong played straight after Bangalter made up for it tho

I'm so happy :D and depressed at the same time :'( because of the good news about daft punk and the Chem. Bros. both coming out with a new album. Im depressed because I have to wait and the only other song I have other than galvenze that I can readily play is believe. I can't find any other music to listen to either... actually, do you know any music like DP or CB? I think I might like prodigy, basement Jaxx and air... but, I don't know, can't get into them. I lurve cherry blossom girl though.
