just picked up the new lemon jelly-64-95. havent heard much of them before but decided to give them a try. all i gotta say is its fuckin awesome. all the songs are great--basically each song is based around a sample from a specific song of a certain year. the samples range from 1964-1995 hence the title of the album. definitly a must hear by peeps who dig electronic muzzik.

Bought both Lemon jelly and M83 during the weekend...

M83's BTDHU is absolutely breathtaking !

Lemon Jelly also managed to continue their triumph (and as it says in the sticker, "this is our new album, and its not like our old one" !

Wow, I was just listening to some soundbites of M83 Before The Dawn Heals Us - incredibly epic stuff, right up my alley - I think I'm gonna have to get the record...

No matter how epic it is, it's not their best album. You should get the debut M83 album - it's one of those CDs that change my life... One of the most phenomenal albums I've heard!

anType, I trust your judgement.

I'll be sure and check their debut album!

Depends where Beck is going. I was more of a Odelay/Mellow Gold fan, then his other Mutations and such.. i've lost track of him since the sex song. We'll see.

I got that new Lemon Jelly album. Not bad. Very well done -- though not my cup of tea.

I'm looking foward to "With Teeth" by NIN. I've been following him since '89... and, of course, since he's from my area (I actually met him years ago in a local record shop before he was big...? how strange.)

The new album Guero is going to be in the vein of odelay, except expect some cool gameboy stylings and fat beats ! The Dust Brothers are producing it again. Yay !

The new single E-Pro can be heard HERE as part of BBC's Roundtable Show...

I managed to get the leaked copy of guero off edonkey, and yes I will be purchasing the album as soon as it is released.I strongly believe in supporting the work that artists do by attending concerts and buying the cd. I think it is all a "corporate music industry" scam anyway. They always do this now......they raise hype over a cd by claiming a copy was "leaked" and now it is accessable over the net. But they throw in that it is not the "mixed/mastered copy", thus creating hype, and making the purchase of the cd more appealing. U2 has done this several times.

I must say, the album, is very good. I am a huge beck fan, as well as chemical bros' fan. What an exceptional piece of work from both artists. Hey, maybe beck and the chemical brothers will do a song or two together. Now that would be sweet.
