Sorry to hear about your cat, there used to be three cats in my house but one mysteriously died last September. They're definately great pets, very intelligent.

You folks across the pond must be burning up! It's been really warm over there for you guys - I hope chemicalfan is staying cool and out of the heat!
I've been really struggling this week, it's been insane (I think somewhere round here it actually hit 36 degrees C). We've got no aircon at work, we just have to open all of the windows and put on a few fans. It doesn't really work that well, but somehow I survived. I just look forward to the drive home as my car's got A/C - heaven in small, fast box on wheels.

djing last night with chemicalfan went well I thought. Tiny venue but I think most enjoyed it
Played off ableton and an m-audio oxygen 8. Got some good vibes from the people there. Mike dropped OOC sasha remix which was a highlight. We even had a bloke requesting EBW6, I told him next time I will play that and some more acid house that he seemed keen on
Yeah, it was quite a wicked night. We got some good feedback from a couple of people, who ironically suggested we should play some harder acid stuff (they were hard dance DJs themselves), even though the owner of the bar had suggested that we keep it on the funky mellow side as it's a bar not a club. Well, following the comments from the punters, the next set will be no holds barred as far as I'm concerned musically - I'll play what I want with no restraint at all[/quote]

It's been around that hot here, but that's not too terribly uncommon in the summer, so we're used to it, have A/C everywhere, etc.
My sympathies go out to you for working in a non-air-conditioned environment.
I'm debating calling in sick to work today, as my cold as taken a turn for the worse... again.

So yesterday I'm lieing there and see flashes, it was class really blue and the thunder was really 'thunderish'. Then like the heaviest rain started, for like the first time ever I was happy to see so much rain, I thought, ''Yes, I can actually sleep tonight!!''

Maybe it's just listening to Dan's July mix, maybe it's the fact that I feel a little buzzed from the cold, maybe it's that I haven't been clubbing in a couple weeks........ but I want to get my house on.
Going to see MSTRKRFT on Monday and I'm pretty excited about that. Picked up their album yesterday but haven't listened to it yet. Has anyone seen them DJ by any chance? I know they played Together a couple months back. I'm hoping I won't have to go by myself but two of my usual clubbing mates are off at a punk festival in Calgary.
..... I want to call in sick for work, get medicated, and head to the beach for the day. I feel just on the borderline right now: too lousy to last an 8-hour shift, not lousy enough to call in sick.

Pedophile party announces policies
From correspondents in Amsterdam
May 30, 2006
DUTCH pedophiles were launching a political party to push for a cut in the legal age for sexual relations from 16 to 12 and the legalisation of child pornography and sex with animals.
The Charity, Freedom and Diversity (NVD) party said on its website it would be registered officially on Wednesday, proclaiming: "We are going to shake The Hague awake!"
The party said it wanted to cut the legal age for sexual relations to 12 and eventually scrap the limit altogether.
"A ban just makes children curious," Ad van den Berg, one of the party's founders, told the Algemeen Dagblad (AD) newspaper.
"We want to make pedophilia the subject of discussion," he said.
He said it had been a taboo since the 1996 Marc Dutroux child abuse scandal in neighbouring Belgium.
"We have been hushed up. The only way is through parliament," Mr van den Berg said.
The Netherlands already has liberal policies on soft drugs, prostitution, and gay marriage, but the NVD is unlikely to win much support, the AD quoted experts as saying.
"They make out as if they want more rights for children. But their position that children should be allowed sexual contact from age 12 is of course just in their own interest," anti-pedophile campaigner Ireen van Engelen told the daily.
The party said private possession of child pornography should be allowed although it favours banning the trade of such materials.
The broadcast of pornography should be allowed on daytime television, with only violent pornography limited to the late evening, according to the party.
Toddlers should be given sex education and youths aged 16 and up should be allowed to appear in pornographic films and prostitute themselves.
Sex with animals should be allowed although abuse of animals should remain illegal, the NVD said.
The party also said everybody should be allowed to go naked in public.
The party's programme also includes ideas for other areas of public policy including legalising all soft and hard drugs and free train travel for all.
You think you hear the worst, till you wake up the next day only to read this shit. its disturbing and made sick to my stomach. }:-@

Well you all know about my stalker by now.
He keeps on trying to add me to his list but i keep on blocking him.
Than i got this monster email
Hi,
Its past midnight here in Australia, Im going to bed now. I hope you have a great day and sleep well and have sweet dreams tonight. I talked with you a few months ago, when we first talked we had a nice conversation, but I wish we had kept talking because Im quite sure we would be good friends by now. I am sorry for losing my temper and saying some things which I regret very much a few months ago Jeanie, I can be a bit of a hot head sometimes and I regret saying what I did in the e-mail to you. You are so beautiful and you seemed really nice when we talked too, it hurt my feelings when you blocked me, but I understand why you did it, you didn't know me and you weren't used to talking with people you don't know. I promise you I am a nice guy though Jeanie, I promise you that. I am in my final semester of university here in Tasmania, Australia and I study English and Philosophy. I play sports, I am playing golf when I wake in the morning, I like running and football (soccer) and skiing. I enjoyed talking with you very much when we first talked and we talked for about 30 mins or more that day, you seemed really nice and we had a nice talk, I wish we could have kept talking that day. I am sure we would be good friends now if we did. I am 6'1, 80kg, and strong and athletic build, I am 26 years old. I have a tool that can tell if someone deletes me or blocks me on their list and I can also see usernames of people who are online but have me deleted or blocked. But I cant talk with people who delete me or block me on msn though. Today I saw your username and it said you are coming to Australia and Tasmania on the 5th of september. I live in Tasmania and I have travelled to many places in the world and I can honestly say Tasmania is one of the most beautiful places you will ever visit. If the rest of the world knew how nice it is here then everyone would want to live here, but thankfully the rest of the world don't know how beautiful it is here. There are so many beautiful places here, beautiful mountains and beaches and small cities and towns, its so beautiful here. The people are really nice too. Its not crowded, the population is very spread out so it has a calm tranquility. I think you are so beautiful, you are gorgeous and you seem so nice when we talked. I think its so cool that you are coming here, I think you will love it here Jeanie. I would like the chance to show you that I am a nice guy and I would be honoured if you would allow me to show you some places here in Tasmania when you come here. I would love to show you the beaches here and so many beautiful places, I live just up the road from a place called The Gorge and it is so beautiful there, it is a must see like so many places when you come here. I know how nice it is to have someone to show you around a city or state when you are new to a place and I wish many times when I was travelling that I had someone to show me around various cities and places I went to when travelling. When you come here I would love to show you around my state or at least my city depending on how long you have here. I promise you that you will have the best time of your whole trip to Australia here in Tasmania, please let me show you around here, I promise you will have so much fun here, it will be great. I was born here so I know the state well and I will help you in any way I can when you are here. I would feel very lucky and honoured to have the company of someone so nice and beautiful as yourself Jeanie. When you arrive here at the airport in September I am happy to pick you up from the airport and take you to your hotel if you agree, you are welcome to stay with me if you wish, I have some spare rooms that you are welcome to stay in. I don't have a gf, if you have a bf at the moment, he is a very lucky guy. I would be honoured if you would say yes and accept my offer to show you around my state and city when you are here, I would feel awful if you came here in September and we didn't meet, I promise you that you would have a lot of fun here and I would make sure your stay here was the best it can be and that you have the most fun you can here. Please take the rest of the day to think about it and then before you go to bed tonight or tomorrow please get back to me with your answer, or if you have any queries or concerns please let me know and I would be happy to clear anything up. I promise you that you will have a great time here and I promise you that I am a kind person and a nice guy. If you decide yes and you met me in person I know that you will see me in a very positive way and you will see Im a nice guy and I have a feeling that we will get on well. I am extremely sorry for anything I have said in the past that was wrong and I am so sorry and regretful for saying anything in the past that has offended you in any way. Please take some hours to think about it and let me know if you will accept my offer to show you around here and give you advice on anything when you are here in Tasmania in September. I promise you that you will have the best time here in Tasmania and that I will do everything I can to make your stay the best it can be here. I hope you have a great day, I will give you my mobile number and home number and address if you would like. I am very happy to pick you up from the airport or meet you in the city or at a cafe when you are here, whatever is best for you Jeanie. I hope you have a great day and evening and sleep well tonight, sincerely, paul xx
