Three Lions was best. I remember Euro 96' when the English fans and opposing teams fans sang it together.

I always remember singing ''Stand up if you hate Man U'' at Elland Rd (Leeds United). Sometimes if they played Newcastle or some other team there would be a whole stadium singing it X-D.

And yes, sneaker they have been relegated.

there is nothing particularly special about three lions, just as a song. but what it did for the country, the football and our patriotism was unique. everywhere you went people were singing 'it's coming home, its coming home, footballs coming home'. wouldn't it be great if we could hold the world cup in this country, i think we deserve it!!!

as for leeds, word can't describe how happy my friends and i are about leeds going down!! although i must complain it is a whole year late. last year we were willing west ham to stay in the premiership and for leeds to go down, infact i'd say the whole pub wanted to see west ham survive.

as it was west ham got relegated, started the season bad, sacked their manager and stole our (reading's) manager. what a beautiful game!!!

Well there's an optimistic view :sarcastic face:

sorry for spreading my bad vibes on the board. england will have an excellent championship..... unless we play those bloody germans!!!!

Are people forgetting the greatness of Vindaloo? No, I don't mean the stinky, arsehole burning curry, I mean the footie song by Fat Les.

Can I introduce you please, to a lump of chedder cheese, knit one, pearl one, drop one, curl one, fuk it! na na na! na na na, na na na na na na na na!

vindaloo was quite wrong, ditto on the leeds thing i cant stop grinning, though i did feel (briefly) sorry when i saw the supporters crying on sat, and smithy's departure/pitch invasion was quite emotional - the lad was obviously held in pretty high affection.

still havent heard the updated version of the farm yet - anyone herad it?

i'm happy we are still in the first division. i have seen some great games this year, it's a great division. if we went to the premiership we would get slaughtered like wolves were this year. where is the fun in that
