I don't remember hearing those.

I do remember "out of control/don't fight it feel it", and "three little birdies down beats/open up remix", they were great!

Lots of people seem to not have heard the Out of Control/DFIFI bootie, but it definetly was played and was killer.

Sgt Pepper's LHCB was indeed played very near to the end of the set.

A bit knackered feeling today. The events of the weekend are beginning to catch up with me, I think. Bring on school... }:-@

Great set from the Chemz...came over from Dublin to see them. Saw them twice in Dublin in 05 and they were class. Lovely lovely club and what a lovely bunch of clubbers. Everyone is so friendly in London! You wouldn't get that in Dublin! Anyway - bit pissed off over not actually being able to SEE the Chemz! Think Turnmills and organisers were far too greedy with ticket sales...it's not fair to cram that amount of people into a small enough room where they played. It's a litttle bit more serious when people are getting hit and stood on - there was even a stampede thing down at the bar near mid night. It's sad when it becomes all about money and how much profit can be made from people regardless of whether they will enjoy the night and do so safely. I love my clubs but fuk like it's nice to know there's no fear of getting squashed to death. Really think the Chemz and club owners should consider this in future. Happy New Year to all!

bahut maza aya (means i had great fun in hindi) :D happy to hear that yall had a blast. that champagne bit was hilarious acidchildren X-D . the place looked crowded as hell. i would hate to dance in a club like that but the atmosphere seemed to be great (glint in everybody's eyes).

i think the coolest part about that was Ed coming over and chatting with you guys.

i think bosco they were all crunked to care about us tours. ;-)

As if Ed didn't get slammed with a million questions I'm sure - now you expect him to consult his crystal ball? ;)

When the news comes, it comes. Just stick with the Chems and one day you'll be handsomely rewarded. Believe.

If the Chems want to take their own sweet time making new tunes then we should find the patience to deal. Not saying it won't be hard, but come on. Give the poor men a break, they just got done touring!!
be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle

i know, i know.....i just want something to look forward too from the chemical brothers...the only thing i really got going for that is "the animal song"(ebw 8.) and "confront your demons" which i just won and purchased on ebay about an half hour ago.

btw, i just found out my uncle, aunt and cousins took a trip to London the day after x-mas....i was super pissed to hear that, cause i could haved bummed off of them for at least the food and room and board at a nice condo/hotel (whatever they rented, since they are pretty fat in the back pocket) and therefore i would only have to pay for a plane ticket, liquor, and a turnmills ticket (wich i had enough money to do!!!!!!!!)....I COULD HAVE FUCKING BEEN AT TURNMILLS!!!!!!!!! NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! }:-)

yeah I totally agree with ya. Everytime I've been to Turnmills to see the big acts like the chems or fatboy or whoever, it's always been far too full of people! Turnmills really isn't that big a club but they insist on squeezing festival-size crowds into their tiny rabbit warren.

I've found it's far too easy for a good night to turn into a bad night at Turnmills, simply becaue of people getting aggro or whatever because of over crowding. I for one would support a reduction in tickets sold for turnmills events, even though that would probably result in a ticket price hike, etc.

Yeah despite the night being overall very good I agree that it was overcrowded. There was far to many tossers pushing to get to the front, who were still unsure who was playing at the time. The club seemed quite messy aswell. Another thing that annoys me about turnmills is the crap bar staff who speak very poor English and often give you the wrong overpriced drinks.

Yeah me aswell, I remember us both looking at it and wondering what it was.

I was also wondering what was the sampler used during the set, im assuming sounds were stored and programmed before hand and then later released. I saw Tom connecting it before the set.

hello everyone. can't be botherd to leave much of a reply at the moment as i am absolutely knackerd. the set was excellent as everyone has mentioned. i ended up dancingwith this blond (the two that was on the bass speakers dancing) for about an hour and a half. she asked if i had a girlfriend, she couldn't quite comprehend when i said yes i do. i danced with her anyway out of politeness and why not, it's harmless fun. so spent the last hour of the set bumpin and grinding when all i really wanted to do was dance properly. the looks i got of the other males was priceless. in the end i had to fuck off to the back of the club till she found someone else and buggerd off. ;-) Had a good dance for the rest of the nite. really enjoyed blur at 8am, that woke me up again from my sleepy dancing. some girl asked about my very lovely LEMON JELLY t shirt, which is, i must say, amazing!! :D

had to wait till 12 in the afternoon for my train back to brum, then the local train to tamworth. got home for 4pm. Then i had to go for a new years day dinner which i was very late for, but i got fed so it was all good. then when i walked home that nite i got attacked by 3 little fuckers who tried to mug me and smacked me on the head with a stick. off course they didn't get anything cause i managed to get away, but fuck me my head hurt the next day, but oh well bring on 2006 hey :?

Dude , that was me about you're lemon jelly shirt , you're the tall guy with 3 quarter pants on and not much hair right ?! Haha! I said that to you near the cloackroom! Fucking hell , if only i knew it was you !! :'( :'(

Hmm Bosco , it will be a bit quiet gigwise this year anyways , so i dont think the US is gonna have much chemicals this year !! I was hoping for it to.

But they good news is , the reason WHY there not gonna be busy gigging , is cause they'll be making music.

8)

ChemicalSi , i still cant believe that was you! I was wearing the black and white striped t shirt. Lemon Jelly are amazing !! And hope youre head is fine - big hugs to you , and to Grahame , who i didnt get to meet properly!

And GirlElectric and everybody who i didnt get to meet!

Tim , Tom , Andrew , my mate and I ( Darkstar , Mips and Mc Marsh ) Went to see Erol Alkan in The End. God i LOOOOOOOOOOOVE this DJ - i wanna hug him !! He played - imo!- fucking great tunes , Bloc Party and Joy Division. Apperantly i talked to the Soulwax guy - he speaks dutch also - and he was lovely but i dont know who he was. I also was more of my face from to many wodka's than i've ever been. But it was a GREAT night :D PICS SOON! MOEHAHAHA! COme one people , you are all home , put the pics up !!!
