I have to say that the visuals of the clown during EBW 7 are ones that will forever stay etched in my memory. It is just so disturbing, nothing special, but right down to the point. The clown's movements in slow-mo, the way he looks at you...

Yeah, I have to agree on that one. That clown _freaked_ me out. The way it would slowly fade up under the visuals and float around looking at you, then all of a sudden "YOU ARE ALL MY CHILDREN NOW"... And the voice sounded so massive and demonic. Is it just me, or did the clown have fire in the background at the end of that track? Following that with "You're the deeeevvviiiillllll iiiinn mmmmeeee" was pretty intense too...
A friend of mine was alot more mashed than me, and yesterday everytime the Chems' set came up in conversation he was like "that fucking clown! That's an evil clown and an evil song man!" X-D

Sorry I didnt get an exact set list but it happened kinda like this (someone please correct me)
Well, here I am, here's a more accuate run-down:
Tomorrow Never Knows Intro
Hey Boy Hey Girl
Get Yourself High
Galvanize
Music: Response
Block Rockin' Beats/Leave Home/Song To The Siren (All mashed up)
Come Inside
Electronic Battle Weapon 4 (Under The Influence)
Electronic Battle Weapon 1 (It Doesn't Matter)
Out Of Control
Temptation/Star Guitar
Surface To Air
Electronic Battle Weapon 6 (Hoops)
Electronic Battle Weapon 7 (Acid Children)
Setting Sun
Golden Path
...at this stage my girlfriend needed some fresh air, we were in the front row, and decided to be "ejected" from the venue... We walked across the front of the Boiler Room, seeing 10000 people going mad during setting sun. This was my 3rd Chem bros, so I wasn't sorry to leave early, I knew of the greatness that would follow... The best moment was walking in front of all these people and dancing my way off the stage... YEAH!
I would imagine that the encore would have been Elektrobank beats, Got Glint and definitely Private Psychedelic Reel...
where exactly were you psyklond? did you see a guy and a girl getting during Setting Sun?
I"m disapointed coz it's nearly the same set than in the summer festivs...

The set on sunday night at BDO was absolutly mindblowing. I was left completly speechless. Have been a massive fan for about 2 years and have been waiting to see the guys live for so long. It was completly emoitional, I was so unbelievably happy and excited, I dont thing anything could top it. :D I was up the front on the barrier and I think I had the best spot in the house. Everything fitted so well. The visuals, the lights, the sound.
Tom and Ed were just amazing. They loved the crowd and really got into it and were so friendly. They looked like they were really grateful for the opportunity to be there. But they can come and play in Oz any time.

What I wouldn't mind seeing released would be a Setting Sun EBW released, of the version they play live (but a studio one albeit)... those versions are madness...
A live recording of setting sun is the b-side to the uk private psychedelic reel single release.

You would think that by owning both the limited and non-limited copies of the CD single and the limited 12" single I would have noticed this...
Hence why I said:

:P
Just like they first played Hoops live in it's EBW form and then later released it on 12.

The visuals were absolutely amazing. Those silhouettes dancing and shooting, and falling over and shit were just awesome. Got to agree with everyone on the whole super-euphoria during Star Guitar. The next day I found the 12 in Real Groovy which just topped it off. I know I'm going to be playing it out a lot more often. I've got the limited singles but some of the remixes are quite cool on the 12.
I was actually about half way into the boiler room, which was a bit crap as I had been looking for my friends for ages so lost my spot :(
I had a relativly crap spot, was straight as an arrow, and had lost all my friends, and it was still the best time I've ever had at a musical event. Now I think that's saying something.

The emotion, plastered like paint, on every one of the faces in the crowd was nothing short of insane. It must have been amazing for them to see this. There was just an enthralled mass of people begging for the moment to never end. There were two, rather minute, AV screens placed either side of the 'opulent' decks and I tell you what ? those audiovisuals had me guessing. But then, wait for it, the two screens drifted into the background as this GARGANTUAN backdrop opened up and?.the images? the visuals?the sound?.the feelings?inexplainable with words, invaded everyone?s conscious (unconscious) mind?.and that was only the first two minutes!!!
What followed was another one of their infamous live shows that pushed a few peoples buttons and helped others code their own. I recall one avid crowd sweater ask me (in downtime before the encore) ?So you having a good time?? my response ?Of course I am! I?m amongst family!?.
These two brothers are audacious, provocative and essential in this day and age and I am one, of many I?m sure, who are glad they have continued to carry on their pioneering ways and bring their expertise to the ears of the mass listener. May the reverberation of their minds continue to be heard for many more decades. Yes boys - Love is All!!May the reverberation of their minds continue to be heard for many more decades.

And nothing beats it when the crowd all pass the acid test!
