it is indeed very funny.
just this morning india time i started a thread EXACTLY along those lines and it was deleted in fifteen mins i think.
i know most of the 100 spam threads a day go off much faster.
i agree my thread was totally tongue in cheek brit, and belonged in buzzed posting as usual, but it raised exactly the same sentiments. funnkkky.

we all know the single is going to be amazing and you will never get sick of it. But, i want to hear it in context with the rest of the album first.
also i dont want my first impressions of the single to influence the way i listen to the album, i dont want to get home and listen to the album and then when the single comes round just be wishing for it to hurry up so i can hear stuff i havent heard yet.
know wha i meean?
im doing it although i may buy the single and only listen to the b-sides ;) im gonna have to not listen to the radio for about a month though... anyhow....

I plan on taking whatever the Bros dish out, whenever they dish it out.
I'll be listening to the single because I want to. I would not be able to resist the temptation of listening when I go to buy it!
I guess in a strange way it's a novel idea to bypass the single and hold off til you can hear it in the album - but why deny yourself the pleasure of hearing the new track? Don't hold back... Have faith that the single will be good and will fall right into place with the rest of the album as soon as it's heard in context. In the end, all will be right with the universe.

it's no big deal, i've done that a lot before i started downloading. the singles are never released here, just the albums and the bigger stuff. i got all the singles i got from the uk with great difficulty.
haha, honestly i'd love to try that but i know i'm never gonna end up doing it. hell i cant wait for the ebw 8 vinyl rips to show up online! :D

People People....after this past NYE - all the new tunes ive heard there and at Summercase , the new EBW's .... i can't WAIT to have that new beauty in my hands !! I have no idea where i'll be at that moment , Australia maybe ?! But i can't wait to go to the record store , to find it and look at the artwork , to go and pay ( and as i know myself really well i'll prob say to the person behind the counter " I'M SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS CD!!!!! ) I'll go home and put the cd in my laptop ( Yeah i wont be in Ams so i wont have my cd player ) and than............. 8O :D :'( }:-) :o . If Push The Button History repeats itself , i'll prob cry at 1 or 2 songs.

bit curious when chemical 6 will be released. Tom said it wasn't ready yet and most of the album is ready 3 months before release in order to get it printed, artwork, promo etc. So let's ask the brothers end of february :D .
No Pressure Tom and Ed, I'd rather have a perfect album in fall 2008 then a rushed one in may 2007. I trust you guys fully.
I just hope to see a single with Problems (animal song) as a b-side. Loved it when Justin dropped it on NYE!!!

I don't want to dash everyone's hopes but don't believe a single word Play.com tell you, I've known them (and amazon) to be utterly inaccurate about a lot of things over the years.
As Joslyn says lockdown on albums is generally at the very least 3 months before release with some record companies wanting as much as 6 months so they can prepare marketing etc. So right now the album would have to be very near finished if not completely finished which it doesn't sound like it is.
Did Tom or Ed talk about the album at all over NYE to anyone? If it were coming out as soon as May I can't believe they wouldn't have mentioned it.
