i can't believe that seb fontain has been axed from the new radio one schedule. i am totally gutted. this truely was the best show on radio one. seb's played a real great mix of house, he was a strong supporter of the chemical brothers. it was his show i first heard the golden path.

radio ones daytimes show have grown sour through changes earlier in the year. now they seem to be ruining the dance shows. last year danny rampling left now seb going. whos gonna play the real house music now??? i wonder how long pete tong will be there??? if he leaves radio one then they are fucked.

a back cloud on a good weekend :(

Sebs always been one of my favourite DJ's, although I never really took the time to listen to his show. I don't listen to radio much because most of it is shit here, and for the decent shows you have to wait till the early hours of the morning or move to London.

Get yourself a DAB radio and tune into the world.

My favourite shows on Radio One are The Breezeblock, John Peels show, The Blue Room, and one show where they play Drum & Bass, but, like I said, on to fookin late and I don't like the listen again option on the Radio One website because the sound quality is awful.

Years ago I really made an effort to catch the specialist shows as it was always a great place to catch new music.?..nowadays I use the net for researching new music?.

It?s a tough one ? I haven?t really listened to radio one for a long long time now??.used to listen to Peely (legend) and Mary Anne Hobbs show when it first started and occasionally the evening session?..but now I can?t say I have the time?and daytime it?s just HIDEOUS

I?ve never listened to Tongy/Rampers/Fontaine etc religiously?Tongy will play a good tune but then you?ll have to sit through 30 mins of snare roll trance and dull prog?.

The show I?d like to see rejuvenated most of all is the essential mix ? years ago they?d have really varied guests and interesting mixes?.a lot of which I still listen to today?..more interesting guests please and where?s that chems essential mix eh??..

Did any of you lot purchase the Pete Tong Essential Selection series? They were brilliant, the cover art for some of these were; oranges, strawberries, bucket & spades. What ever happened to the series? why did it die?

I really like the blue room but the only time I ever get to listen to it is when I'm on early shift on a Saturday morning...for about 20 minutes, then I have to get up :-|.

I got to listen to it for about 5 mins, and just by that you could tell it was a quality show.
