Speaking of which and since we're back on the subject of Live singles and Cunts, I failed to bring it up last year out of decorum, but the "live singles 95-05" was a rip off of what I had done earlier that week (Biff's Picks) in that the person (5-55-555) who did it was and is a dousche bag who tries to take live chemical shows and not share his... ironically one of the people who he thanks got really pissed with this too... To top this he took a semi-original idea and taking it out of the relm of modesty to basically spit on something i did. I can say confidently that the existance of Live 95-05 would not be with out Biff's Picks.

finally uploaded this set.

cheers to the mixing bowl upper for this set!!

sneakerbeater Escribi:

at some point i must upload the london xpress set the brothers did on xfm in may 2000. its a real gem of a 2 hour radio show, i'd go as far to say it the best radio set that exists. its a bit like the breezeblock show they did in 98, them just going through their tunes they love. its got a great sunday vibe to this recording. concetrating on the full spectrum of house music from paradise garage classics to their own dance floor mayhem. highlight include

francine mcgee - delirium. the borrowed drums for alot of their tunes, especially under the influence' which nicked it lock stock

frankie knuckles - 'your love' probably the greatest moment i ever experienced on a dance floor when they dropped this a few years ago.

i'll try and upload it some time this week

I'm a fuckin doughnut

oh this radio set is wicked, love the dedication of beau mot plage to their other halfs and toms 'come on eddie, hit 'em with your reggae sevens!' before ed drops some wicked acid-dub.

good shit 8)

This is a great set for those of you who crave more of the chemical love from the breezeblock set in 99, more eclectic me thinks. Some songs in here sound very influential, most notable is one track (cant name which) has a very similar style of guitar solo as galaxy bounce

It doesn't matter", compltement loufoque isn'it ?

J'attends vos feedback !

Ok, I try in English... gloupsss...

I began to upload on the FTP and I made a files called Samples

Here is the list of the track which you will be able to find there:

I hope to please to you...

I adored their reinterpretation of "Again Round", really different at the base.

And what to say about "It doesn' T matter", completely mild nutter isn' it?

I'm waiting for your comments!

thanks Skullo for sharing.

Now I'm wondering how do the bros mix these songs into their own. Just now i heard all of the samples, it seems to me that the chembros only use the rhythm or small pieces of tunes, rather than the entire songs. Damn that would take the bros for ever to find out the suitable tunes for their own songs to mix with.

BTW, I'm new and don't know too much of DJing. :P

Hey woolv, welcome aboard! :) I don't know squat about djing either, but I think I know what you're getting at - and what you are referring to is not necessarily a technical aspect in regards to djing/spinning records. I think this has more to do with song composition than anything else.

The Brothers write an original song and lift a 'sample' or bit from another song and throw it into the composition. Whether they have the samples picked out beforehand and write a song around them, or whether the samples from other songs are lifted after-the-fact is something I don't think any of us know but them.

Not sure if I explained very well, but hopefully you get the gist of what I'm trying to say.
