I must see La Haine now!
And I'm glad the Chemical Brother didn't split up!!! Yay Tom and Ed for hanging together and hanging in there :D I wonder where else this rumor was being spread - I don't think I read anything about a split in magazines but I know people here have been playing that guessing game since Come With Us.

who wrote this shit?? all the hallmarks of a NME journalist!!! there was no specultion. we all knew they we busy in the sudio at the begining of the year and since may they have been playing out and about across the world. you might have well written 'ends months of speculation that tom and ed were abducted by alliens!!' its just as factual.
anyway good news about the video, although i'm not familiar with the film.
is it wednesday yet??

"probably one of the last chemical brothers gigs ever as everything's gonna change"
such a shit just to make sure they sell out!

Michel Gondry has such a mind man! you never know what to wait from him, I'm sure if he does something for the Chems, it's gonna be mind blowing as usual :D !
yeah they are exceptional videos!! but i have seen a few others of his like kylie and the white stripes. and they are all in a similar vein. i just think it would be cool to see someone else take on how to do the visuals to a chems video, there is so much tallent out there!!

Just to clarify what the video could be like or about la haine is in black and white even though was filmed in the nineties it follows three friends who live in the innercity project housing estates where there are running battles going on with the police, it's set just after a big riot in which one of there friends has been put on his deathbed and one of the charachters called vincent swears that he will kill a cop if his friend dies. It basically follows them around the estate and into the main city as said trys to get money owed to him by a drug dealer and they get into a few scrapes. It really is an exellent film very gritty stylish and exellently acted i do recall that a new version of it is coming to dvd where there is a version of the film in colour, so i think i will be getting that to go alongside my other copy
i recommend everyone see it.... great film.
