This evening, like most, I let my son decide what we're having for dinner. So the menu tonight is steamed artichokes with a choice of sweet mustard aioli or balsamic dipping sauce and hot dogs.

god I love that kid.

I'm trying to think of the weirdest things I've ever eaten... letsee... not much.

I had some quail egg (at a sushi restaurant) once. That was weird, I'll never order it again. The texture was really slimy, I ate it on a dare and I about gagged up everything I ate previously that day.

That's about the extent of it. Nothing too outrageous. I am one of those people that likes chicken liver, though. And pickled herring. Those aren't common for me to eat these days but I used to love chicken liver and pickled herring a lot when I was a kid (I was a strange child with strange eating habits).

Yeah, quite a few sushi places have the quail egg otherwise known as tama. I forgot to mention that my quail egg experience was actually sea urchin (another weird thing to eat) and quail egg sushi. I think about that now and it kind of makes my stomach do flips. I've had octopus and I like it, though it's a bit chewy and sometiems it's a texture thing that throws me off. I love sushi - so I've tried a lot of what's out there. I used to be a lot more adventurous back then, and would do anything for sake haha. These days when it comes to sushi I play it safe (as safe as raw and uncooked can be I guess) and stick with the tuna, salmon, eel, shrimp.

I ate sharks fin once. When I visited Japan. It's actually really good, and I eat it every oppurtunity I can(which isn't that often). I'm a huge seafood person. I eat some really messed up sea food. But I like it.

Yesterday, my friend ate/drank 1 week expired milk, relish, mushed up cookies, ketchup, yogurt and salt. My other friend payed him $20 to do it. The rest is history. Then I came home and saw this on here and stash's other post. I wasnt feeling too good.

hehe, seafood is the staple of my diet. I eat fish every day since I don't eat poultry or red meat. Though I have been thinking about eating chicken again - just to have some variety (and also because seafood is so expensive). It's good though. I used to be a vegetarian for 6 years but I feel so much better now that I eat fish.

I can't believe your friend mashed up that horrid concoction and consumed it. That just ups the ewwwww factor. Didn't he get sick? I feel queasy thinking about it. I don't know what's worse - the expired milk or the ketchup. I fucking hate ketchup with a passion.

The worst part was the relish and milk. Just that would have been horrible. I actuall havent seen him or talked to him since. Hmmmm, I wonder if hes still alive? lol. I'm going to a japanese section of toronto tommorow, gonna get some more sharks fin! I heard they make a soup out of it.

yeah the fin soup is really good from what i hear. But dude the chick is homeless. Like come on. It really depends on how long she was homeless for and how homelss was she. Because like some people live from house to house but like they shower. And then theres the ones like on the street that smell real bad.Remind me to never let you use my chapstick.
