You know, it's threads like these that keep me in check, and remind me of why I love this forum so much. *sigh*

Well kids, I am off work now and getting ready to head home. Will probably log on at some point tonight or later this weekend.

Love you all and love to Tom and Ed for helping me get through the final work day of the week!!

Hey there chemical forumers mates ! I'm back from CSS/Yuksek/Gildas & Masaya, and I'm still pretty loaded on vodka orange/apple/red bull, wine and other fun alcohols. I actually heard the tune played live on Pete Tong show at a friends while drinking before going out. My friends were always talking and I was like "shhhh ! listen !"

I don't really know what to think about this EBW10... It doesn't sound... unique enough. I'm a bit disapointed. I say it's the lowest EBW so far :( But let's see the tune in action on a club and in a few weeks/months. Maybe it'll have grown in me :)

I don't feel like reading the 6 pages... am I the only one who doesn't like it that much ?

Nah, Ben, I feel the same way. But, I'm definitely reserving strong judgment until a good-quality version of the song comes out.

I can tell 8 and 9 are better, though.

yeah, I was not that convinced about 8 at first, and really liked 9, but then it became the oposite. 8 is one of the best tracks the chems did, and 9 is just ok

anyone who doesn't like anything that the chems have ever done is an ass clown.

Thus Spake Zarathustra.

Zarathustra was an ass clown himself, so this declaration is worthless

Woaaah! Just landed at Heathrow after an overnight flight, and see what I missed! Will listen when I get home, but the talk of Bizarre Love Triangle (one of my favourites) is getting me excited

Really fucking nice..... At 1st i wasn't sure about it especially the vocal midnight madnes but after listening to it another 5 times all i can say is this track is absolute quality. I love the breakdown towards the end. Can't wait to hear a better audio of it on some quality speakers

Hey there!

Can't say I'm too thrilled either, but I'm sure this has to do with the low sound quality. The intro to the track sounded like Bob Sinclar to me (bleh!), but I really liked the buildup at the end of the song and when it goes off again. I think it's a grower :)

Again, waiting for a better sound to make a proper judgement.

you know what's funny? I generally like all the EBWs, but since Push the Button, every time I hear the first new track off a chems album, I think, 'What the fuck has happened to them?!??!' I thought that about Galvanize, about Do It Again, it's always my first reaction, until I hear it in the context of the album, then it's like..... 'ooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhh'

which doesn't relate to the EBWs much, since they're standalones, but, whatever.

Yeah I know what you mean. I can definitely detect a DIA-syndrome here.
