That show stinks and it's a rip-off from a zillion sitcoms with the same story and character development and terrible humor.
I have to admit it has an incredibly good internet marketing though.
Why does this crap get so much attention instead of excellent shows like Breaking Bad?

Y'know it probably is, it's still amazing! I laugh constantly! It's the only show I actually sit and watch!

i really like this show, and actually think's it's fairly original compard to the other US sitcms we get in the UK
over here it was marketed as a replacement for friends, but there's way too much drunken sex and moral disambiguity in it for that, which is a good thing.

Breaking Bad is nowhere near the same type of show... And Breaking Bad DOES get a lot of attention. Bryan Cranston won several awards, several years in a row.
I like How I met your mother, but it kinda got boring after a while... I hope we get some answers before the end of this season, of I feel like I'm going to completely lose interest

The show is becoming more and more a succession of sketches, rather than a real story... In comparison with Friends (because let's face it, HIMYM = today's Friends) that had a solid story going on for as long as the show lasted.
