Well for what it's worth, at least there isn't any further bickering or complaining or needless slagging of Daft Punk in this thread anymore. THANK GOD!
This thread has degenerated into jerk chicken idiocy, and I am to blame for much of that. So I'd like to take a moment and apologize.
Culinary queries and delights aside, the new music buzz is back straight from Ed's mouth (hands). On the good side this has given the forum a kick in the ass and something to get excited about again. At the very least I hope we all can agree on that? I wish we had a bit more to go on (like, wish we could hear something ) and get some good solid discussion going.

How quickly peoples memory fades - it was only a month or 2 ago that The Rock Drill came out, and it seems like the distant past.

well i think it's kind of a hard decission to launch some sneak previews bits because that would gain momentum on rumors and speculations by the audience and the press of what will come and what to expect of the next release. And then it maybe doesn't meet these belifes coz they decided not taking this or that on the next record or change parts. As an artist i'd like to avoid that.

Ah, Rock Drill... I know I know, but it's such a tease! ;) (And most of us have already discussed it!)
And I see what you mean, Csar. Don't get me wrong, I'm not asking this forum has special treatment for sneak previews and such. I was just thinking and wishing out loud. I have no prob whatsoever waiting for the new material. Part of the joy for me of having new tunes to listen to is discussing them with like minds. I'm glad we can do that here.
I don't like predictions and I don't like to speculate. I'll just take the music as it comes and go from there.

remember screamin all over these forums a few months back that they should put out 4 albums together n take whatever break/ vacation they want, is it happenin? :)
common bros, give us a double disc album next!! the chems can't write a bad song. unless u'r slipvin.

I still think we wil get a folk album from Tom & Ed. It won't be this one I think with all I heard about the Animal song/EBW 8 but in the near future we wil get it....
For me Chemical 6 could be a 60 minute treatment of Surface to air and I would be happy with that :D
