The Oculus Rift looks pretty great; I too have been following it all along but I haven't the kit. Have you enough of a programming background to really fiddle with it, or are the demos so well prepared that you can run them easily?
The demos are usually easy to run, just run an exe.
I have been playing with VR gear for many years now and have done a lot of my own development, but all at a hobby level. At the moment I am playing with Unity 3D as it has support for the rift built in, and it is pretty easy to use.
Further Remixed There's nothing else...

The Last Of Us - holy shizballs!!
I am merely a spectator here (the hubby is playing) but even so, this game is absolutely stunning to watch. The attention to detail right down to the minutia of the slightest fractions of light and shadow, powerful story, vast decaying cityscapes, intense creepy factor, facial expressions and voice acting. My husband says the game play is amazing and is quite visceral. From where I sit, this game plays like a movie. A good movie. Amazing and if you game heads have a chance to play, do yourselves a favor.

360? But can't say, playing the side-quests from dawnguard right now + do some housebuilding with hearthfire.
It was on PC, thought I remember that 360 had the same bug. Do save before going to end of DLC, just in case they didn't fixed that. My saves got ruined because I was too lazy to save properly instead I used autosave and quicksave. I enjoyed hearthfire, housebuilding and kids adopting was fun

Thankfully. I need a legitimate distraction from bar study.
But I like the dudes at gog.com's attitude--they get it. Make good content available to people easily for a decent price and they'll buy it.
Admittedly, though, some of their prices are a few dollars too high.

I've supported Gog.com for quite some time, I love the idea of DRM free games. They do price some stuff little too much, but have many action sales quite cheap. For instance, I bought Witcher 2 also DRM free together with Witcher 1 for something like 25€ and later got expansion pack (among other stuff) for Witcher 2 for free. Love Gog.
