it looks to me from the album art and now the art for swoon (both of which i think are stunning) means a return to vegatable vision for the sleeve art.
obviously it only makes sense seeing as the whole album is tied together with vision from adam
but i just wanted to make a thread that praises the awesomeness of the images in DYOH and EPD and pass on the excitement and aproval of these stunning images we have been provided just recently.
really perfect. YAY
kate gibb is great too though, don't get it twisted. its just nice to see the familiar stylings of yesteryear.

If you'd like, I can change the title of the thread - just let me know, I'll do that when I'm on a real computer.
Personally I think it's exciting to see a change in the approach to the album art. I love Kate Gibb's work on Surrender, Come With Us and We Are The Night - and I liked the the bold imagery used for the Push The Button era. But I think the art for this new era is almost coming full circle in the sense photography is used again, however these images we've seen so far have a softer, more aesthetic and femenine edge.
Between the cover art for Swoon and Further, what do people think of the feminine subject matter?

Swoon: Gymnast
It goes al the way back to Elektrobank, yeah.
Could it be Sofia on the cover of Swoon?

I like how simple but effective the new covers are. Especially how simple swoon is, but yet how good it looks. They were starting to get pretty complicated and crowded during WATN. But then I guess each era has its own theme to go with it. And yes it seems to be coming back to EPD and DYOH style of abstract photos which is great. Maybe i'll make a wallpaper of the swoon girl
