Neither here in California. Most stations are under Clear Channel's grasp, and radio stations pretty much delegate which music you ought to be listening to, the radio dj's don't have much a choice in the matter of selection anymore. If we're lucky, we get to hear decent dance music at ridiculous hours on Sunday morning (like at 1am) but either you're still out clubbing or you're home in bed.
The only time I ever hear decent dance music (not the pop trance crap) on a Los Angeles radio station is at 2am on a Sunday morning driving home from a club. Which is so rare, it might as well be never!
I long for the days when there were truly alternative radio stations...

I sometimes put on Music Choice Dance (on Sky TV). I had it on on Thursday and they played some really good dance tunes. They played Moby - Honey (Sharam Jey's sweet honey mix), a remix of Clubbed to death by Rollo of Faithless, Saffron Hill - Love is always there and Emerge by Fischerspooner.
Good to see there is an alternative to MTV dance while it slowly goes down to the murky depths ......

dunno if it's been told before, but Michel Gondry probably used the software Arkaos for Star Guitar video. Arkaos is a VJing software. A friend told me he saw an article about Gondry on a french music magazine, where he was a computer screen with Arkaos and Star Guitar images...
