I bought '18' a few months after it came out and have only listened to it a few times - imo once you get past the first 10 tracks or so the album really starts to shine, 18 and Harbour are beautiful tracks.
I like Moby's sample based stuff but I like his voice as well, he isn't the greatest singer but I think his vocals really add emotion to a song, if that makes sense.

We are all made of stars was indeed good. Anyway, if people say they don't like 18 because of that song, that's proof they haven't even heard it, since that's the only song like that on the album.
It's impossible to dislike the album- tracks like 18, Harbour, Sings of love are just too good.
