Ben_J, do you really think it's EBW 9 ? I mean they released Hoops remix as EBW 6 too.

how the fuck are they getting away with selling WATN MP3's???
Is it me or does everyone have this album now?(besides the people who want to wait) I've had two friends who are not members of the forum try to send me copies of it in the past week.
I really hope I never heard any of those B sides before either. I'll be more excited that way.

Yeah, it's fucked up. It's been leaked for a while now and everyone can download it everywhere.
What I hope is, that those 2 b-sides will be available on CD format too. Would buy me the vinyl format even so just to be able to listen to them. But it isn't that handy (as chemicalfan already mentioned). And I don't want them to be released as digital downloads only as it was done with the live05 tracks.

Well, we mentioned it before, but all of us will pick up at least one, sometimes two or three different version (depending on your desire for the versions) so I don't think the ppl on here will be any reason for low sales.
What I find sadder is that they keep winning grammys but don't get better airplay in the U.S. *sigh*

I think it's too early to predict dismal sales on account of downloading. Albums leak all the time, and this time around is not going to make or break the Chemical Brothers at this point in their career. The reviews and blurbs on the internet have been relatively positive for the most part. People still go by magazine articles and charts, so we just need to wait and see and I'm hoping for more, really positive feedback. As for tangibles, we'll all have our cd's and vinyl sure - but the digital market is going to really push things up I think. That is an ever growing and strong market that can't be ignored.
The American audience needs to be prodded because that's how it is here. It's tough over here... Push The Button did really well and working on the retail end of things I saw this first hand - Push The Button sold exceedingly well for my store even though electronic music didn't quite fit in with the demographic. Galvanize did well on the charts before it was used in commercials. Play on commercials only spawned more sales. The album and the single Galvanize was steady on the charts for a while and the decrease in album sales (imo) was due to the long wait inbetween Galvanize and The Boxer... and the regrettable, huge missed opportunity of Believe not being released State-side.
The Chems have an accessible album on their hands with We Are The Night and I don't think it's accessibility should be under estimated. It's just a matter of shaking things up and exposure. I think Do It Again will do well on the club and dance charts here - it just needs some play. Charts may not matter in our day-to-day life but people are still paying attention to them and sales are, to an extent, driven by what's hot on the charts. If we want more airplay on the radio, then we need to call the radio stations and start requesting songs.

I found a site where you can download the illegal version (which I'm not going to say or maybe not return to the site), but I'm not going to download it because I support the Chemical Brothers and I am going to buy the CD. For Clip Kiss and No Need, probally download it legally.
