I though that the point of TGP and GYH was to have them exclusive on the Singles 93-03 disc. They've released them as singles as well.
I think that the Chems should try and get the album into SACD format - the Chem's music in 5.1 would be truly amazing! 8) It's also possible to have a SACD that plays normal stereo sound in a normal CD player and surround sound on a SACD player.

It would be an explosive experience if the Chems mixed a record in 5.1, but that may never happen, but then again, never say "never" things may change - here's a snippet of an interview they did after CWU was released:
ETM: Have you thought about mixing a record in 5.1?
TR: It is hard enough mixing for two-channel.
ES: I still like the idea of our records sounding good on a little tape player. We do surround when we play live, I love being in the center of all that movement.
TR: Live, we send different sounds to the engineer, left and right and there is 8 groups on the desk, so the guy at the front of the house has the eight different sounds and he can program in figures of eights and snakes and stuff. It all sounds separate to him at the desk, so he can mess around with it. It is good when it works like that in the physical environment.
ES: But now you have such good systems in clubs, people get a really good experience listening to music loud. 5.1 seems like part of the hi-fi experience, it just seems funny the idea of just sitting down and listening to a record. Hi-fi is cool, but 5.1 seems unnatural if you have to sit in the middle of the system to hear it, that is odd.

Finally, I am able to provide proof and back myself up with an interview, without saying "I read it somewhere 2 years ago... I swear it's true." ;)
SACD players were really expensive not too long ago but I heard they dropped in price. Still out of my league there, I'm still working on getting my home entertainment system worked out. I did hear DVD Audio is where it's at, more accessible price wise and more multi functional - great surround sound and all that. At any rate, a lot of DVD Audio and Super Audio cd's coming out can be played on a regular ol stereo.
