I think we should make him wait, tell him Santa has a terminal illness and might not make it to next Christmas, and he would love nothing more than to give Connor the Nintendo Wii.
Just to keep him on his toes. ;)
I remember when my parents told me he wasnt real...i cried :'( christmas was my fav part of the year.
Even in my family we celebrated Christmas (because the concept of Hanukkah Harry just wasn't gonna cut it). I kind of got the hint at 7 years old when I heard my parents rustling around in the attic and in their closets on Christmas eve. So I asked my older brother about it on Christmas day and he hesitantly spilled the beans. I wasn't bothered by it. To be honest Christmas was always a stressful and miserable time in my household, so the less fuss the better. But I will be sad when my son realizes we've been putting him on all this time. Christmas is his most favorite time of year.
ahh yes, x-mas was fun when I was younger, but it really seems to suck every year i get older
I?ve always had this great anarchist dream for the holiday season, where I could somehow convince the American public not to spend money through the holiday season (no presents, no dining out, no traveling, basically being very frugal as possible). Thus, creating chaos upon all of the evil corporations, losing billions of dollars, and making them go bankrupt (unfortunately, millions of people would lose their jobs) since no one would be making large transactions of money.
In result, we will get rid of mass production, debt, and start focusing what?s most important in our lives.
