M-Audio will unveil a new piece of equipement on january 13, it's said to be unique, revolutionnary, etc etc.
There's a video of The Crystal Method talking about it, and apparently the Chems did one too (that's what my friend told me) but I don't know where.

It's a high-powered kazoo synthesizer. The next step in music production.

Mateixsynth said it was the chems, typo I think they meant their mediocre American knock offs which the site indicates. Probably another software synth, yawnni.

Did you see the pics, it looks like it's hardware. Anyway if the Chems didn't say anthing then I'm not really excited anymore.

Hmm I'll check it out later, here is the corrected link, comments show it was chems before. I think Tom and Ed have too sophisticated of synths to endorse something M-Audio would make (they prob have a midi controller) since these are guys that own Moog, Roland, and Modcan modulars, not something you put in your studio with an Electribe... Burn. Like I said before, major companies aside from Moog have no interests in analog anymore, only elaborate replications that fall short of having a soul.

That sounds intriguing. That Scot guy made something like a twiddling move with his hand. Let's see what the hardware will look like.

I don't dislike the crystals at all but they sound nothing like the chems, they're simply not playing in their league. I never even tried to compare each other - it just never crossed my mind.

Anyway, whenever I see them in videos, they don't really look like musicans to me. I know, that sounds silly, but these guys look more like insurance salemen... Maybe for (upcomming m-audio) synthesizers...

Btw, why isn't that in your all-new technobubble thread?
