Not even in the same league as their Glastonbury set even though it was exactly the same track line up.
Sound quality wasn't as good. At glasto, when the under the influence came on, you were the bassline. Lightshow wasn't as amazing, oh and some cunt was sat on someones shoulders infront of me so I couldn't see for a bit.
The crowd varied too, at Glasto the fans where there specifically for the chems (cos oasis were on at the same time) and I noticed people actually talking while the chems were doing their euphoric weird space sounds bits. Show some respect people! it's like jumping up in a one minute silence and singing 'celebrate good times comon!', that's how rude it was.
The tune with the lyrics: "would you like to come in now, would you like to come inside" with these big lips miming it on the screen is fantastic!
The diving song as you people have named it, comes very close to the beauty that is the sunshine underground! That's quite an achievment!
So, in conclusion, wasn't as much of a high at glasto, but still amazing! 8)

I take it you survived the dreaded coach trip, then? ;)
Glad to see you had a good time, despite a couple of irksome people in the crowd.
Anyway - it's good to know you're back alive and safe after what must've been a long weekend! Now you've got two Chemical Brothers gigs under your belt! :)

Yeah, coach trip was terrible. Not for my mate Dave though the bastard, he got to sit next to this beauty wearing hardly any clothes!
The driver cracked us up a few times, not sure if you people are familiar with Trigger Happy TV, but there's a mobile phone sketch where he shouts on the phone. It's been copied so many times by twats and has become dreadfully unfunny, but because this driver was unaware of what he was doing, he had the whole coaching laughing their heads off.
Shame both the gigs had the track list though, but i'm not going to complain, i've seen them twice!
Longest weekened ever, it's just waiting around I hate, and there was a lot of that. 2hrs, maybe even more, in the que because of health and safety reasons!

Those cell phone skits on Trigger Happy tv are the best!!!
The waiting around does suck. There's just so much anticipation, all you want to do is get in and get your bearings. Over here we have rather tough security measures and they are very strict with what you can bring in and how big your back packs and purses are. It's the security rifling through all that stuff that holds up the wait. I understand these measures must be taken but it still doesn't make the waiting any easier!

Spent ages in in a tent called subliminal in the early hours of the morning, dancing around like a gay, some ladies wanted a piece, but I was to tired for them.
Almost got into a fight, some lankie punk fronted up to me, but I wasn't up for a right, I would have just taken a dirt nap.

the subliminal tent is where its at!!!
i've been to a shit load of subliminal parties over the years. real quality house music with dj's that push the boundries of mixing!! i must say i was well looking forward to catching harry 'choo choo' romero set. typical he clashed with fc/kahuna. i got to set half his set, and i was so dissapointed. instead of his dirty funky and chunky style of house we were greated with the human league's don't you want me baby and then mousse t's horny. what the fuck was that about!!!
