I've begun to appreciate this album a lot more recently.

Coldcut Podcast #4... I've just found out that it's in fact a part of their Live in Paris in early January, I was there with Chrisman and Stephen (and I was quite drunk )

This tune doesn't get talked about enough, it's pure genius. A perfect example of where a Chems B-side is as good as their A-sides, but an album can only be so long (80 minutes, in fact)

I am so fucking in love with this band. Their lyrics are so awesome!



Well oh they might wear classic Reeboks

Or tracky bottoms tucked in socks

Totally agree, I feel I've discovered them quite late in comparison with the rest of the world, but the songwriter is a total lyrical genius. I can't think of a single band/solo artist whose songs contain such amazing lyrics whilst not being pretentious (sp) The only vague comparison is with the first & second Stereophonics albums, and that was nearly 10 years ago!!

i really dig their tunes anyway, but they sounded proper tight, amazing for their age really (without being patronising) and really really rocking.

I saw them live at the Eurockeennes... I've been really blown !

A lot of people seem to dig this band.

For me the fact that their so young and their lyrics are so honest , true and so literaly ( Titles as " You Probably Couldn't See For The Lights But You Were Staring Straight At Me ) , i think everybody can find some recognition in their lyrics. Live they are really fucking good , they have this energy about them altough they dont jump around like monkeys.

But for me , the thing i love most about them are how true their lyrics are :
