I've also ordered tix to see the Chems live set up in Glasgow. Seeing the same band six times in a year makes perfect sense to me. Oh yes. :D

and in more good news. i will not be attending either!!



had a discussion with a few friends last night and i think we are just gonna have a party round someones house. we are not even going out, how very 30 something!! still at least we are not going to garage city, the club my best mate has been asked to play at. still as long as i'm 'together' with my girlfriend and the rest of my friends on new years eve it doesnt matter where we go!!



i'm pleased i will not be going to the forum meet up at turnmills looking like a demented pill head!!

well its no big deal i wont be there, it would have been nice but....



still you guy are gonna have a great time. turnmills is londons greatest club without any shadow of a doubt. not as plush as fabric or ministry, but the club has a true clubbing vibe and a booming sound system. there truly is no better place to get your feet on heat!! its been my second home for years, enjoy.

In looking for accomodations, does anyone have any suggestions or hints?



In particular, are there certain areas of London that I should NOT book into?



I'm looking for something quite cheap. If possible, a private room; if not, then not. Cost is a big factor, but not everything.

Well sneaker, welcome to the 30-something club. ;) At least you've got a party to go to and I know you'll have a good time with your friends - if they are the ones stash and I met at makoosa then I know you'll be taken good care of! But if stash and I made it out to New Year's (likely won't happen so you don't have to worry about insane Americans!) don't think it wouldn't go through stash's head to figure out a way to kidnap you and drag you off to Turnmills!



Grahame... you need to convince your girlfriend that masquerade balls are a thing of the distant past, and a night with Tom and Ed is moving foward into the future! I mean, it's gonna be 2006, it's a cheap night out for you and you'll know it'll be the best of times, and so many people from here would love to meet you. I'm sure your girlfriend will feel welcome and right at home. There's still time to convince her that Turnmills is where she wants to be on New Year's Eve!
