and sorry for asking about the album thats been mentioned in other threads but i havnt seen a date yet, or a track listing :)
and i notice some people have the album already ? what would it cost to buy a copy ? PWEASE
the chems played the "you are all my children now" track @ glint, one of the most memorable tracks for me, that and, rude rkade - beutiful (runes acid mix) + tiga - pleasure from the bass. not to mention all the chems hits and there "what were gonna do right here is go back" original artfrom booty.

The album isn't even near finished yet, so how the fuck would we have it?

maybe i miss read some threads but i could have sworn that some people were saying they love the chems new stuff etc. and that come with us was on the internet 5 month before it was released, and that some of the new stuff could be available on the internet already.
SO THATS HOW THE FUCK YOU COULD HAVE IT

Fatman, the new material is under wraps (and probably closely guarded considering what happened with Come With Us) unless you've been to a live Chemicals gig in the past couple of months.
The "new" material, ie studio recordings are not available on the net and probably won't be for a while. Rumor has it that the record won't even be completed or out til 2005 - and with the current slew of lives shows and everything taking up their time, I believe the rumor to be noteworthy - plus the fact that the rumor was started by Tom at glint... well, it's likely the truth. Anyway. The only place I know where to hear the Acid Children (you are all my children now) track is through the recent streaming Glasto set that's been mentioned in a couple of other threads (I'm sorry, I don't have the link but I think you can locate the stream on the BBC Glasto site.)
I don't mean to add to the fire, but as far as obtaining the studio recordings of Chemical tracks a la Come-With-Us-5-months-early via the internet illegally, it is looked down upon here (in case you haven't noticed ;) ) Not only is it looked down upon by people in this forum, it is frowned upon by the Chemical Brothers themselves. Of course if we all could hear the new material now, we'd want to, without a doubt, we're all going nuts here with waiting!!! But all things within reason - and downloading their stuff beforehand is not within reason and it's not what the band wants... I think you'll find here that there are a lot of us who do not want to go against the wishes of the band. It's just not a cool thing to do in some people's eyes, and that's why you've unfortunately been met with such hostility.

So true.
Imo, you have to buy the CD with all the artwork and printed disc to get the full impact the artists want to share with you. Because music is art; the Chems have created it, and they're allowing us to experience what they've created.
If you could afford an original piece of art, why would you settle for a copy when you can get the original?
There's also quality issues. A copy will never sound as good as the original, and if it doesn't sound perfect, then you're not hearing it the way you're supposed to. People have d'loaded the new Prodigy album, and do they even know if it sounds how it's supposed to? Or maybe the tracks are cut short to make the file a smaller size? They don't know, because it's not how the artists wanted them to hear it.

The Chemical Brothers are without a doubt my no. 1 band, I like them so much that I wouldn't download their music first, and of course there's the whole thing about the packaging, artwork etc. Also, MP3 versions do not sound as good as the original CD recordings, so that is another reason I prefer to buy original music. People are mentioning the new material because they have been to the live show(s) (or watched the Glastonbury footage on BBC 3 ;)). Search around on the Chemical Sets board and you should find the links to the audio (which is normally at BBC's Radio 1 or 6 Music site).

Firstly, no, i wasnt being serious with the "is that a crime" remark.
I just want to hear new chems stuff soooo bad.
and even if i did get a copy of the album today, it wouldnt stop me going out the day it was released and buying it on cd and vinyl and then buying all the singles, i had to be phisically restrained from not ditching an A-Level exam just so that i could go to shops to buy come with us the morning it came out.
Thanks for the info on the acid children track :) ill hunt it out
and as for the hostility, c'mon its the internet for fucks sake, get a grip, we all love the chems.

if i could buy a promo cd i would.
the fact of the matter is, i want to hear new chems stuff and i dont care how i go about it.
and that doesnt make me any less of a fan than anyone else.
so whats been said is even if someone did have new stuff, they wouldnt share it, for some reasons or another.
which just makes said person greedy. the chems are about music and love.
