Oh my god, you scared me there I thought all the old boardies came back to live the dream, but you made good use of the search tool instead.

Fairplay to ya man. Dont think I've had a chance to say welcome, but anyway welcome. We're a pleasant bunch round here and we all share one opinion - we all adore chemicals. Love them chemicals like.

Hold on here -- first off, wow this is an old post. it still has anType's deleted postings.

Second -- a favorite is defined as a SINGLE favorite. (like, what's your favorite color?) you can't answer I LIKE ALL OF THEM. That's not a favorite. That's call cheating, people.

Morning Lemon.

1. Star Guitar = Fun, Exciting, Euphoric, Layered, and just my favorite song ever.

2. Elektrobank = LOUD.BLARING.BEATS., what you call a journey into sound. WARNING THIS SONG WILL KICK YOUR ASS.

yeah, and those are the only two im sure of...

Hehe, I hope to god that was a real slip up :)

Anyways, The Chems have so many great songs, but to me these 5 are in a league of their own:

1. Surface to Air

2. Star Guitar

3. The Sunshine Underground (never knew other people liked this song much... I think this was the first song that got me really hooked on the Brothers)

4. Saturate/EBW 8 (my first listen today and I have to say it is utterly amazing)

5. The Private Psychedelic Real

Honorable mention goes to Hoops, Lost in the K-Hole (and thus the end of Get Up On It Like This), Piku, Galvanize, and Pioneer Skies. Das Spiegal and Burst Generator I am hesitant to put down as I have just heard them today, but I also enjoyed these songs very thoroughly.

My favourite used to be HBHG but I kinda have HBHG fatigue now.

Current favourites are Star Guitar, Get Yourself High and Surface To Air.

Unlike many, though, I've never been especially into TPPR.

Nobody mentioned The Test. I do. I love the lyric, its suond, its video.. all of it. Of course, there are lots of more songs I love. Like WATN, Burst Generator or, back in time, TPPR, Setting Sun, Surface To Air and so on.

just saw them live yesterday at werchter. Except from 'wow!' (as always), it again proved that a list of fav chemical beats isn't really that defined...however, looks like I missed the live version of Setting Sun a lot. And I've heard (and seen) better versions of The Sunshine Underground, which I think you can recognize a real chems fan by. Was in it: Get yourself high. That's a killer. Good new version of Out of Control.

Further on in fav list: Get on up it like this / Music:Response / Song to the siren / Life is sweet / It doesn't matter / Where do I begin / Elektrobank / Block rockin' beats (live) / Surrender + Dream on / Asleep from day / Surface to Air / Believe. You're welcome:)

I can't choose between :

Elektrobank

Setting Sun

Under The Influence

Out Of Control

Denmark

Believe

Surface To Air

Das Spiegel and Burst Generator will probably enter this list.

I've given it some thought the past week (days? whenever the original question was asked) and I can't decide between my normal Morning Lemon... or Orange Wedge.

Apparently, I like Chemical Citrus.

This is a totally sweet question to ask.

I own a ton of Chemical Brothers stuff, CD's, EP's, Vynils, Memorbilia...

I'd have to say after listening to all the CD's and EP's and Vynils that I have, the new song Burst Generator is comming close to taking the cake from any song I own.

I'd say this new album is just groundbreaking,

I've owned tons of Chems stuff for years and years now, and Finally they are geting uber-popular again!! YAY!
