I have posted anti-Daft Punk stuff here before, and many of you have seen this video, but for those of you that haven't, please watch it:

not only have i seen that video, but i made one myself. i put it on youtube. At the end of the vid i put "Boo Daft Punk" and i got a shit load of comments of people saying im a bitch and "how could you be such an idiot" and "DJs sample all the time". but they never saw my point. my point was Daft Punk are unoriginal bitches, and when i thought they wrote that stuff, they really didnt. pretty much the whole Discovery album was a big ass rip off.

BUT... with that said

i still love Daft Punk

It was the best rip off ever.

It may have been ripped off but thats what alot of artist do "borrow" from one another. Besides wasn't technologic and Harder, better, faster, stronger sampled for the busta rymes and kanye songs. No biggie.

They were, but seriously as long as the artist respects where they got the sample or idea if they can make a better version of the song then props to them.

Some of the samples they used for the discovery album shocked me at how they were hardly tweeked at all, almost carbon copies...but a good album none the less, but when the chems use samples, they are tweeked to fuck! Electrobank was quoted to have sampled like 100 songs so I heard once??? Can anyone confirm this???

My life is a boat, being blown by you. With nothing ahead, just the deepest blue... To me you're like a setting sun. You rise then you're gone.

I have nothing against sampling, it just shocked me, like most people to hear what DP did with the samples. I still enjoy listening to their music, but it's a bit tainted for me now.

Their best tracks are the non-sampled anyway. And they paid for the samples. I see no big deal.

It's a photograph I took from the balcony of my friends flat. Just edited it a bit, put my abbreviated name, and got rid of the trees and brick work.
