DeadMau5 - Ghosts and Stuff

Strangely, I really like this track (despite its very shitty-mainstream feeling)

Are you talking about the original mix or the vocal version with Rob Swire?
I like both--I really enjoyed the instrumental mix for months, and after hearing the album version I was put off a bit, but I've grown to enjoy it about as much.

(Currently listening: Reso - "Beasts in the Basement"

I love shitty-mainstream feeling... addicted to that track since months ago...and Deadmau5 has an AWESOME live act. It was beyond my expectations!

By the way, ben-j, do you know a french group called Le Peuple de L´herbe? Is some of their work worth buying?

Ok, I´ll try...They´re in Madrid a lot of times but I haven´t listened nothing from them. The Cube cover is cool.

I was fearing they would sound like sort of Manu Chao you know...I can´t stand that kind of stuff anymore, and France scene is full of pseudo-ethno-world-music!

Well I actually I'm a fan of Crookers (except for the new album), so I like most of the tracks, just the black-ones that are crap.

Hearing Another World.

I agree about the album. But appart from Big Money Comin, Day n Nite, and perhaps a few other tracks that I don't remember (Love to edit, ...), I don't like what they did. Their U2 remix is the worst remix I ever heard.

There is a sample on this track no ? Just at the beginning, I can't remember where I heard this sound, maybe a Basement Jaxx track ?
