Know what you're saying! It's simply a master piece imo. When i once got 2002 live set and listened to it I might have looked the same

there were fewer songs in the set in 2002, which meant you got some long renditions.

1999, songs were even longer...

it'd be cool to either lengthen the set or drop a lot out -- maybe changing it up day to day 8)

yah it's been up for a while...in fact look who posted the vid.......sneakbeats. It's one of our own. I have the same vid but with star guitar before it. The vids are from space shower TV who has really good production of their sets for Fuji rock. When I was there in 04, and 05 they had a booth where you could watch all the past performances that were eventually broadcast in japan, though each band only got 2 to 3 songs.

OH my god!!

I've never seen this footage before!

Oooo!

Wow - I am freaking out here. I heard this performed as the last song when they did Coachella during the Come With Us tour and my jaw hit the lawn I was dancing on. The Test was utterly amazing live. Thanks so much for finding this badgelot (and for sneaks for posting it). Talk about a lovely buzzy swirl of memories you just brought back!

Going to Birmingham gig in dec, and it will be the 3rd time seeing Tom n Ed, and after seeing this footage, wow, yeah i'd love to see this again! It works really well!! My girlfriend loves this song and it will be er first time going to a chems gig, i hope she's totally converted! But yeah, i dont think we'll see it on this tour, the setlist rarely changes an awful lot does it really? The only exceptions ive heard of are AMMC in Italy I saw on Youtube, which id also love to see in Birmingham!

This tour might not see The Test, but maybe the Australians will get some extra goodies thrown in?

Hmm.

I've seen that clip before, but when I watched it, I noticed how airy it was compared to the album version... I really enjoy airy tunes.

That was good. :)

I do miss the CWU tour set...

In fact... I'd have to say that the title track off the album made for the best opener out of all their songs... It's absolutely m a s s i v e.

Come with us did sound great as a live opener, but Galvanize only seems to have real impact as a live opener and I'm sure im not alone on this one...Don't get me wrong, the track was always immense, but as an opener is just draw dropping! Come WIth Us, great Drum rolls though, would love to have seen the visuals for that! ;-)

I will always have a special place in my heart for Hey Boy Hey Girl as an opener... because that was the song they opened with the first time I saw the Chems.

Come With Us was a great energetic opener, too. It went well with the tour (obviously!!) and the whole vibe of going with the Chems on the live journey.

Galvanize is a fantastic set opener that inspires fist pumping and crowd bouncing. It works because the song is instantly recognizable. Given the number of festivals the Chems played this past summer, opening with Galvanize made perfect sense, it was a good choice on Tom's and Ed's part in my opinion. For people at the fest who were there to see other bands, hearing a song so instantly recognizable as Galvanize probably drew quite a bit of attention from people who might not have wandered over to the Chems set otherwise.

Galvanize is too slow as an opener and doesn't build enough. It's great, don't get me wrong, but HBHG & CWU worked much, much better.

I think HBHG is better later on it in the set around 2 3rds of the way in when your allready pumped highly and want more. Galvanise is an ok track and an ok opener. The reason I like CWU is becuase it builds so much
