move your cursor on top of the .zip

now: Push the button!
and very, very soon after that:
Do it Again!

this trick is usually called a double click but it is more fun to tell it in chemical brother lyrics :P

If I just double click the icon in my downloads folder it tries to open the thing in Windows Media Player. Fine, but Windows media player says: " the selected file has an extension (.zip) that is not recognised..."
So that's why I assume it needs to be extracted from the zip file. But right clicking on the file doesn't offer me extraction as a option...
So what do I do? Any sensible replies for a tech luddite?

try right clicking on the zipped folder, not the indivual music files, then extracting the whole folder

you should then end up with folder containing all for tracks

Skyscraper - Are you in the actual downloads folder, or are you looking at your downloads through Chrome, Firefox, etc.? You should be looking in the actual folder in Windows Explorer (the windows that pop up to look at folders). Normally you can double click on the .zip, something seems to be weird about that though on your computer though, so try right clicking on the .zip folder and clicking "Extract all". Another option is to redownload it and select "Open file" instead of "Save file". That'll open the .zip in Explorer (or WinZip, WinRar, 7Zip, if you have any of those installed). From there you can drag and drop the Harpoon B-Dat folder to your desktop (or music folder, wherever you want it). After each option, a tiny box will pop up asking for a password, enter the password, and the folder + files will appear where you told it to go.

Poots - Still password troubles?

Everyone else - Thank you, glad you liked them! Sorry I was a day late in a few countries!

Thanks WhiteNoise. Somehow I have muddled through and at least managed to open the MP3's. Pretty decent sound; thanks for these. Much appreciated. The password was the easy bit, and I haven't even been on here long enough to remember the forum member in question...

Come out from the cold and into the setting sun. It's where it all began for me (not in Afrika), like it was out of control. Then after that life was sweet. So dream on into the pioneer skies of the fourteenth century and rise from the sunshine underground.

Thanks WhiteNoise.
My favourite are the fast-paced Pine and Blue Noise.

Just noticed that you've tagged both tracks 1 and 4 as "Melody Seven".
The first is actually "Connection No.1", right?
Thank you, WhiteNoise!
Did I pass the acid test?

Yep, the first track is Connection no 1 by Harpoon (Tom). Accidentally left the Melody Seven tag on.
