ha, the king of pop remixes return. got to agree there is something special about chatlotte church, her 'professional help' or whatever the title to the single is is the best pop song in ages.
Dance impresarios The Chemical Brothers love Charlotte Church's latest single Crazy Chick and deeply regret turning down the chance to remix it.
The duo are huge fans of the Welsh diva but were touring to promote their latest album Push The Button at the crucial time.
Decks master Ed Simons says: "I like Charlotte - she's a right little belter. And I love her nan (grandmother). The way she always gives advice and says it as it is.
"We were asked if we would remix Crazy Chick but we were on tour so we turned it down.
"When I heard it I was like, 'Maybe we could have done something with that song'."

Charlotte Church was regarded as having the voice of an angel. She is a talented young woman (boy, do I feel old, I still see a little girl when I look at her, even with all that makeup on!) and I have heard her earlier work. She put an air of youth and vitality into the classical genre which many people sadly see as "stale" or "old."
I haven't heard her latest effort, her breakaway from the classical side of music. I read a horrible review of Tissues and Issues in... I think it was NME or Q or something. Which figures as much. It's as though people want her in her "place" which is amongst classical music. Can't blame the young woman for trying to branch out of the box she's been in and expand her musical horizons.
As for her personal life, I kind of wish people would leave the girl alone and quit scrutinizing her lifestyle. She's obviously talented, she's rich, she's pretty and she's old enough to party if she wants to.

And considering Ed was referred as a 'deckmaster' or whatever, I am guessing this article was written for Heat magazine or somesuch? 8O

I heard Church sing on a live show once and I was very impressed. I didn't really like the song all that much, but I was very moved by her voice.
regarding Norah Jones.....I don't dig any of her tracks but the one she did with Wax Poetic was very good. Some great remixes of that tune as well. I actually adored that track before I knew who Norah Jones was. I was kinda shocked to find out she did the vocals when I found out.

Dance kings The Chemical Brothers have turned down a remix for the Crazy Frog.
The duo were surprised to have got a call from the quirky amphibian, considering they are busy touring their new album.
"We thought a collaboration was on the cards, but then he committed himself to his debut single. He recently wanted a remix, but we declined. He's not the sort of artist we want to work with now" is probably what Ed would say.
"I have always been fascinated with pondlife. But clearly the pressures of fame and a no.1 single has got to his head." Tom Rowlands didn't add.
When asked about his views on the duo's new album 'Push the Button', the crazy frog replied "a ring ding ding ding doooooooooor, doooooor weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee."

Actually, that would be interesting, taking probably one of the 2 best songs from a suck album and making it as good as a chemical song, instead of something on par with one of the worst chemical songs...
But I kid, I do think it would be cool I actually do like robot rock more than I consciously give it credit.
