You bring up a point, Yibn - a lot of artists find inspiration while out on the road, and write songs for a new record or maybe an EP could be in the works. Considering Liam spent 7 years holed up between records, he's bound to be inspired by the response to his new material while supporting AONO. I do think AONO feels like a writer's block record - it does feel forced to me anyway. If Liam is on a writing streak right now while on the road, it could be the breath of fresh air he needed.
I wouldn't be surprised if the Chems released an EP. Actually *wink* I heard a little tidbit yesterday... Maybe this year, hopefully hopefully. According to a brief something something my boss heard at a label meeting last week... hint hint, rumor rumor. It was just a vague word passed down to me but believe me I plan on hounding the EMD rep next time I see him so I'll try and let you know any details if there are any. We might get to hear from Tom and Ed's evil twins after all. ;)

Compare them?
No way!
Their sound is a lot different, if they were doing the same kind of music I would compare them.
I think both are great groups.
I'm a big Prodigy's fan, although they have dissapointed me with AONO.
I think that it's stupid to ask or say why one is better than the other, that's just somthing personal.
I've never compared them, they have a totally different sound.

And that makes 'm better artists? Explain!
No. I didn't mean they are better artist. I meant they are more exposed to public, and many more ppl heared about Prodigy then TCB. They are both high quality artist, but the music and them are very different. I'm big fan of TCB and Prodigy, and I can't say who's the better artist.
btw. prodigy is releasing somethin' like TCB released Singles 93-03 in April. And, also they confirmed new album for end of year.

I've thought about this before and like most people have said the chems have that ability to make georgeous stuff as well as the hard hitting stuff where as liam only does the hard hitting stuff. But this is what is bugging me with liam he has an insistance that his music has to have this punk vibe which in my opinon is getting in the way of creativity, aono was a bit weak there where one or two good songs but it's a weak album but i think releasing it has got him out of that funk he was in. I'd love to hear what he could come up with without this punk vibe that he constantly goes on about as for a new prod album they are releasing a best of comp which liam is asking fans for suggestions for names whoever wins will win a prize of somesort.

No respect to the Prodigy, but I am not taken on a journey with them like I am the Chems. Then again, I don't think that's the Prodigy's style anyway. So no harm, no foul. It's all what you prefer.
Very true, Whirly. Liam's seldom tried to write songs in the vein of TPPR, The Test, etc., with the possible exception of Narayan. Prodigy is simply a industrial-dance-punk band, the Sex Pistols set twenty years too late, there to make a statement and make some noise. Comparisons would be more apt to Atari Teenage Riot, probably, than the Chems.
That in mind, I definetly prefer AONO to Fat of the Land. As much of a "flop" as it is, I really like AONO and currently feel that TFOTL has dated quite poorly. I'll probably think AONO has dated when I listen to it in 2009 as well, as it's not timeless in the way that Surrender is timeless, but I really do think it's a heavy-hitter.
To summarize: Prodigy = Sex Pistols, Chems = Beatles, AONO = actually quite good.
