haha, whatever you guys. The concept might not sound interesting NOW, but I guarantee someone out there is gonna film something similar about a online forum community. And then I'll have the final laugh!!! :::cough::: :::cough:::

thinking about a forum movie/documentary reminds me of http://en.wikipedia....ki/Densha_otoko . More along the lines how something in peoples lives on the net became so important along with others in real life. The love life thing could work but that would kinda be boring. Tom an Ed could make random cameos like elvis costello in 200 hundred cigarettes.

NYE 2005 was legendary! Thrills, chills and spills!
Ben_j I agree, the Fuji footage on the singles DVD was magic and captured everything good in a Chems show. Don't really get what you're not understanding though (unless the thread de-railment is what's causing confusion in which case I do understand the confusion!) We always want more more more, and a full length live DVD is what people are wishing for one day.
As for a forum doc... I think the idea's a bit goofy. What would be cool - if a full length DVD came out - is to talk with fans before or after the gigs (not just hardcore forumites, but whoever catches the cameraman's eye) sort of like some parts of the Private Reels segment in the Singles DVD.

I think we need a Chemical Brothers cooking special DVD (featuring Steve Dub and of course Sammy the Salmon)

To be honest I'd buy any recording of the chems, even if it was an everyday task like putting the rubbish out..imagine the bonus footage, the making of the rubbish i.e. food consumed through the week etc....We'd all buy anything!!

Groove Armada are talking tentatively about a live DVD/movie project for next year which would be made up of hand held camera work taken at various gigs during their tour this year put to a well produced live track. Sounds amazing.
That Trafalgar Square footage proved to me that the Chems could produce a really well done live DVD that would capture the energy of them live. I though this years Glastonbury footage was some of the best too.

haha only kidding. NYE 2005 was a mixed bag of beer, great people, repeated vomiting, extreme tiredness, cold streets and generally wanting to die.
But, it started off well! I sometimes have flashbacks to things that happened. Like when I went to the bar in 'spoons and the guy next to me ordered a tea. For some reason I blurted out "OOW TETLEY TEA". From that moment on, it was very uncomfortable as I asked myself why I would say that, as he waited for his change and I waited to be served.
