Yes they were playing it in 2004. I remember them playing it in Paris at the end of august 2004 too.
Funny how Come Inside is labeled as "Party Break". Was that coming from an official tracklist or was it written by the blogger ?

^ It was written by the blogger I'm pretty sure. That's what makes it significant, the official tracklist for Push The Button wasn't released till November 2004 so no one knew what the new track names were. So the fact that he could tell what Guitar Tuned To D was means he'd heard the demo and name before the show, probably through KCRW.

PS: "Slow Butt Grind" is priceless. He's talking about the Elektrobank outro.

Yeah, but if I remember correctly, it was the name Tom and Ed gave to it, that's why I suspect it could be a setlist like the ones rock bands tape to the stage... I can't recall the Chems ever doing this, though...

 I'd be honoured to receive an .mp3 of this version of the best track from Push The Button! How do I prove my trustworthiness? I can prove my dedication and love for their music though: http://soundcloud.com/cb_extended and will promise not distribute it, be it "as is" or mashed up as "Star Guitar Tuned to D".

Ha! I didn't know that. You might be right then. I swear they did do a printed setlist at least once for 2011 Fujirock, we got the name "Galactic Phase Shift Interlude" from it, I can't find it anymore...

Unmastered version sounds much heavier, and one synth in this version sounds like it's crying =)
And of course i really like guitar riffs in break part.

thanx WN! having a proper listern now!

EDIT: the launch fx is gone and the sirens come in a little later! small subtle differences but I can see why this was unmastered.

Thanks Whitenoise!!!

I gave it a listen on my beloved Senneiser headphones. Definitely tons of differences, intro storter, drums different overall sound definitely appears pre-mastered as Inchem noted. I love hearing stuff like this, especially during a super-long lull it keeps the love alive!

In my quest to hear all chemical brothers tracks at least once

Have you worked your way through their Remix credits?
I recently ordered the Dead Man On Campus soundtrack CD as I didn't have the Chems remix of Realize by the original Dust Brothers.
I've never heard it. CD hasn't arrived yet (ordered from an American seller, to send to Europe).
Someone here is probably going to tell me it's crap, I imagine...

Hey, Skyscraper! Nice work on the remixes! Except for The Fall - Masquerade (Chemical Brothers Remix).
I think that is not a Chems' remix.

http://forum.thechem...brothers-remix/
I'm coming back from a trip tomorrow and I'll send you my list of remixes.
By the way, I'd like to listen at least once the chems' songs uncredited in Black Swan.
On the other hand, Guitar Tuned To D has all the power and energy of The Chemical Brothers. Nice thread this one!
