I know people who've gone from being a Leeds Utd fan to a Manchester Utd fan, something that a football fan from my part of the country just does not do!! They should be charged with treason and shot!!

In football, perhaps above all other sports, allegiances are not to be lightly changed, if at all. Some rivalries, however, to me are utterly unthinkable to switch sides on. My friend doesn't even understand at all why his swap is troublesome. I told him if I ever found myself at Anfield with him, I'd sell him out as a United supporter. (And this is a guy I've been friends with for well over 15 years.)

Came across an interesting article today about the listening habits of the Liverpool squad.

What the LFC players listened to before the Champions League Final

1. Roll With It (Oasis)

2. Ring Of Fire (Johnny Cash)

3. Fearless (The Bravery)

4. Dakota (Sterophonics)

5. Tubthumping (Chumbawamba)

6. Club Foot (Kasabia)

7. Somebody Told Me (The Killers)

8. I Like TheWay (The Bodyrockers)

9. My My My (Armand Van Helden)

10. Walk Idiot Walk (The Hives)

11. My Way (Frank Sinatra)

12. You'll Never Walk Alone (LFC fans v Chelsea)

"Jamie Carragher, for example, prefers Indie, Steven Gerrard is more into his dance tunes, while some of the foreign lads favoured something totally different."

Surprised to find that Stevie G is into the dance choons, but I think it might actually REQUIRE an eckie or two for him to ditch the scowl and actually smile for a change. :D

It wasn't on TV here, so I only just caught the highlights this morning finally. Looked like a good 'un. I want to find the Spain-Slovakia highlights and wouldn't mind seeing Smicer's goal for the Czechs.

WTF? That just made my morning! :D

Unfortunately, they'll probably develop some sort of team spirit now and actually go on to knock Chelsea off the top of the standings.....

over rated

big headed

gumpy little

nob nibbler

is my opinion of roy keane on recent years, a player playing on past glories who's confidence turned into arrogance, and as with his declining form for no good reason.

roy keane 5 years ago - utter legend, hardets man in football.

like darkstar said, in a way im a bit sad he's gone, im sure he was contributing to the bad morale for man u, and it would be typical if they get it together and win the league now X-D

I just crushed the spirits of my best friend, a Man U fan (?!?!?!), on his b-day by telling him the news that Keane quit.

I do so love ruining his day like that. Come to think, I have a few other phonecalls to make.... X-D
