I actually like the single version because it's only 4 minutes or so long, which isn't a good thing to say usually about a chems song, but the album version is a little excessive for what it has.

Favorite part of song: part after the breakdowns.

Galvaniz e (Extended) Rocks da house if you ask me, is my fav version.

I don't know, I like Galvanize. It's different, it's slower that the other Chems album openers but still keeps the energy really well. It's not so good live, I'm not sure why. It's not bad, just doesn't seem to work live that well. The should have played Setting Sun instead! :P

Hahahaha Well here galvanize really work it live i have to say the people explode with music response and galvanize. :D

Hmm. I thought Galvanize worked really well live too, robot.mx. It was interesting how everything slowed down during the segue from Big Jump, then those opening Galvanize hooks came in. It's such an instantly recognizable tune, the place exploded! It was a fantastic response. The speed of the song didn't seem to hamper the high energy or pace of the set.

When those strings came in live, I was so excited and the crowd went off at Coachella.

Hmm, maybe it was just the Brighton gig then, I wasn't diggin' the vibe during Galvanize. That said, The Big Jump was totally awesome, maybe it was just overshadowed a little.

Yeah, The Big Jump was way better live than I thought it would be and really caused me to reassess the album version too, which I now love.

I have to say that this whole PTB era have been my best Chemical Brothers era!! I have met alot of great people during gigs and my love for the music has grown imensly.

My favourite gig is probably Cologne, Germany in february although Werchter was real good aswell but had real bad weather.

The surprisng thing is how good the Big Jump works live. It's amazing. The hardest pumping live track has to be Believe but my fav is Surface to air.

It's also my fav off the album. I find myself playing the song from my promo vinyl and playing around with the treble and bass buttons on my mixing desk to make it even more intens.

Close your eyes is also a beautifull track. And the Chems helped with PTB to discover new bands. Magic Numbers (close your eyes), Bloc Party (believe) and Trespassers William (hold tight london) have been highlights of new bands I discovered this year and I did that trough the Chems.

It was a great era for b-sides aswell. A beautifull Spring, a breakbeating Rize up, a pomping Swiper and an incredible funky Giant, I can not decide which is my favourite.

As for remixes not any jump out. I think the Switch remix of Galvanize is my fav. I like Erol Alkans rework of Believe alot aswell but you cannot really call that a remix.

PTB in my opinion has been the easiest album to listen to. When it was just released it had to grow on me. If I listen to it now it is over before I know it. It such a variant, good record I really can listen to it over and over again.

My only frustrasion of the PTB era is Galvanize. If been mixing alot of the new tracks with old tracks (try mixing the Duke in Giant, it's Killer!) but Galvanize is impossible!! It's a great track but it is so weird that it's a 3 beat in stead of a 4 beat. I cannot mix it. WHAA X-D

I hope the Chems return to Holland for 1 more gig to close the PTB tour and I strongly believe a live DVD of this tour will be released. It has to. It's been a great time till this point and it would be a shame if it went out quietly...

Yeah, I've loved the b-sides off this era, especially 'Spring'.

So glad I got to see a live set from this tour. I must see another Chems show before Christmas 2006 or else things will be drastic.

Hey wow the other day I was listening to Come Inside and then I heard Come Together by The Beatles not long after and realised the Chems use that "Shik" (or whatever it is) vocal from CT in CI. I love the fact I'm still finding new stuff to love about PTB all the time!

Hold Tight London always makes sense to me, though I've yet to hear it on the dancefloor. It's one of those songs I instantly connected with straight off the bat. Yeah, it's a gorgeous piece of art that's nice to listen to, but there's something about that song that goes deeper. When I first heard it, it was like the first time I heard Surrender, or The Reel - it brought back all these memories I had from long before the song(s) were even written. I guess that would only make sense to me! X-D

Took a while for Hold Tight London to hit me, but I love it now. Along with Close Your Eyes, Surface to Air and Galvanize, it is a PTB highlight.

Unfortunately, the bass frequency is just perfect for rattling the hatch of my car, no matter how quiet I play it, so I've yet to hear it at massive volumes.
