Nothing but a disgusting act of stupidity! I'm with all the victims and their surviving dependants.
What's also repulsive is the fact that all the exreme right wing fuckers are now crawling out of their holes to hijack this event and use it for their demagogic propaganda, like FN in France or the Pegida fuckers here in Germany.

Absolutely sickening that Marine Le Pen's first reaction was "We told you so !", and now she's asking for a referendum on re-instating death penalty.
She's a cunt.

Rally in Paris yesterday was magnificent, I've never seen anything like it.
It was really touching and France should be proud of it, for so many reasons.

Also yesterday Croatia elected a woman for a president, thing I never expected to see in my lifetime, since Croatian society is still largely 'traditional'.
Granted, presidential role is largely cosmetic here, but still...

What a bunch of bullshit ! It's time Fox News stops this non-sense when talking about France. There are no such things as "No-go zones" restricted to non-muslim in Paris or in France, the neighbourhoods they talk about are peaceful and nowhere near what they describe (comparing them to war zones in Irak or Afghanistan).
Please fellow americans from the forum, tell me you never watch Fox News and consider them as the village idiots of news channels ?

Jon Stewart is a good answer to this :)

Oh don't worry, it's not just parts of Paris that Fox News have made those sort of comments about. They said the same thing about the second largest city in England - the whole city! In fact it seems to be the same guy judging by the the clip attached to the first of my two links below.

David Cameron referred to the Fox reporter as a complete idiot in relation to his comments about Birmingham.

And BBC news slightly mockingly interviewed the reporter in question here.

Hopefully you can see the clips on these links outside the UK...

Ben_j, for an American perspective, if I wasn't better informed I would be significantly convinced that Fox News is a liberal conspiracy designed to discredit and ridicule conservatives, that's how absurd it can get.

Thankfully, I heard about fox only if Jon Stewart or, now off the air, Colbert are ripping on them for being sooooo ridiculously stupid. Maybe it's better said maliciously stupid. Or dangerously stupid, I can't make up my mind.

Sounds like Bugged Out know how to turn a Hi De Hi holiday camp into something a bit special.
Fatboy Slim being the surprise dj guest at the indoor swimming pool. And the Chems, Four Tet, B Traits, Erol, Jackmaster too.
I haven't been to a Butlins holiday camp since I was a small child, and never imagined I would want to go again. But I'm a bit envious after reading this review.

Ah, it should be coming soon. I got it on my 930. The new Lumia Camera is pretty good ! I can do 4k videos now

On a related note, I tried to use Shazam in a club tonight, during a Para One set, and it worked amazingly well ! It successfuly identified 7 tracks, despite them being played on a very loud system, with people chatting and shouting around. I think the incredible sound quality of the Lumia 930 microphones helps a lot, I don't think any smartphone would be able to work so well in such conditions. I just checked the tracks, and there's not one false positive.

But you do know you don't need an App like Shazam on your WP to identify tracks?
What i don't understand abput the 930 - why the hell did they not include Glance Screen?

I do, but honestly Shazam works much better. They recently updated their algorithm and it works incredibly well and much faster too.

They could not include Glance Screen because of hardware reasons : the screen does not support it

Yes i know, but this is one feature that would let me buy a 830 (or the 1520, but thats too large in my opinion) instead of a 930. I love Glance.

Sorry for the late response, but I really want to answer this older post.

Fox News is an epidemic over here. I used to be embarrassed for people that considered it a valid news source. I thought it was mostly relegated to the large red-state center of our country, commonly known as "Murica". Sadly, it's not. I live in a very progressive part of the country (Mid-Atlantic Northeast), and a considerable amount of people around here still perceive it a true news source. I am specifically surprised to see how many Gen X'ers buy into this crap.

Fox News is dangerous and irresponsible. The network spews xenophopia, hate, denial of science, discrimination on multiple civil levels, dangerous foreign policies and loss of personal freedoms all while supporting the financial abuse of big business in the name of "liberty". Sadly, people buy into it. Well, not the smart ones, but it is definitely scary what an influence Fox News had on our last mid-term elections. The political and financial abuses of our conservative party have only been getting worse, and Fox News spouts their propaganda.

So yes, many of us find Faux News offensive as well, although a great many of us still have no clue...just like the world believes.
Gonna work it out...
